Jan 20 2008, 1:26 AM EST Although I have a question. After we back this up, if it should be necessary how to we reuplaod things? I'm assuming that being able to back up the site is a precaution to a wiki become corrupted or such and the mod being able to just get everything back up quickly rather than doing all the work over again. Also it would be spiffy great if this could end up working both ways. Enabling working on pages off line. So Great start you guys. Thank you muchly. 4 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 20 2008, 1:44 AM EST Although the pages can be downloaded you can not work offline and re-upload the pages, the backup system will come into use if your wiki somehow gets deleted from Wetpaint. Working offline might be available soon! Do you find this valuable? |

Jan 30 2008, 3:25 AM EST but what about if like some anon person screws up your website can you load the zip file BACK onto your site? if so can you grab the zip file and move it to another site? it would be good for moving sites... i agree with... BlackWhipsAngel... but you would need a sortof program to be able to edit the site while offline... maybe that should be next for wetpaint to make a free program to download that lets you eddit your back up and upload it back onto your site... it would be great for dialup users... (not me :)) Do you find this valuable? |
