Flickr widget

Please please please please add a partnership with Flickr. I tried to create a "Flickr badge" on Flickr's website and paste it as an "Other Widget" on wetpaint, but it didn't work. I don't want to have to maintain multiple photo sites!

As far as I know, we don't have plans to add a Flickr widget right now, but you can do it by using an IFRAME as demonstrated on http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Including+HTML+PagesPaintchip has an example here: http://artshares.wetpaint.com/page/.+PaintChip 1 out of 1 found this valuable. That's too bad. While I'm not afraid of a little simple HTML coding, I'm not familiar with iFRAME. I'm not opposed to learning, but with limited free time, I was hoping for something a little quicker.

We're big fans of Flickr here at Wetpaint. It's certainly something that we may add additional support for in the future.

"Thanks for this suggestion and example, extremely helpful! One question, though... if you put a webpage in the frame, and that page has a counter, does it "count" if people see the page through the frame? I want to frame some relevant blogs on my site, but I won't do it if those blogs won't get "credit" for viewership that is on my site rather than theirs... Do you find this valuable? |
