Hi, will it be possible to create an editor for mathematical equations and symbols? That would be helpful for maths and science education wikis. Do you find this valuable?

That would be a very specific set of features, so I don't think it's something that we would be likely to develop in the near future. It could be a possibility in the longer term though. Right now the focus is on developing or enhancing the features that would be used by the majority of Wetpaint users. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

LATEX is a commonly used language for generating images from mathematical formulas. I fould the following site which uses php to generate images from LATEX code that you enter.

I am also trying to write a mathematical Wiki and have reached a full stop because the only way to put maths in it is to upload files.
Did you make any progress with your question?
