Need two-column template option

Please make a two-column template available! (one nav bar + a wider content area) So, e.g. the Become a Member box, Page Toolbox and Other Wiki list might be movable to the left-hand pane or perhaps the banner area. I don't really need to hack html or css - just the chance to reconfigure the page structure in the way that some portals allow would be helpful

I imagine a fairly frequent need for some more text-heavy pages, in which the size of the central column will be an impediment. (I already ran into this case 2 weeks ago - I was helping a colleague set up a wiki for a group collaborating on a grant. b/c of the length of the document, the WetPaint wiki was discarded shortly after setup. The group will now most likely go to pbWiki or Wikispaces) 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

This is something we've been looking into recently. Keep an eye out for something like this in early '08. 3  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Thanks - I can't wait!

How about considering a New Page option that calls for a full page with no nav bar - only breadcrumbs at the top (depending on the parent pages you've navigated to before choosing to add the New Page) . You would also then need a floating toolbox. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Yes - I really like the new design. WetPaint did a nice job of laying out the horizontal menu options. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Where can this template be found? Is it at a site level or a page level?

There is no more third column at all. The content area is everything to the right of the left-hand navigation area. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
