Pesky Background Image

I have an image on my site (background) that I'd like to remove or change, but I can't figure out where it actually is. I did not create my site...I just adopted it after it had been abandoned...so I don't even know how the image got there in the first place. Cany anyone help with this? 2  out of 3 found this valuable. Do you?

Almost forgot...I already tried changing the "Logo" image but the other image doesn't change or go away. However, depending on the width of the new logo, it does move horizontally. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

if u want to change or add new logo image just login with your account and click on wiki settings at the right side of the wiki and select name & logo tab and then upload your image from PC or web. after u uploading the image logo you must save the setting by click on the save button below on the same page.
Thank you.

What is the url of your wiki?
your wiki might be one with a customized background.

http://brickiwiki.wetpaint.com/ That's what I was afraid of. I've tried changing the styles and that doesn't help. I've also done what the user above suggested too...long before I gave up and came here whining to you guys. :P Thanks for the help. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

BrikiWiki has a lot of custom work that Wetpaint has done in the past. The Header image, custom background image, and some of the CSS were all customized a long time ago and are designed to work together. The Header image, for example, is designed to go with the Logo image that you've removed.

Changing these things requires actual code change on our end. Since we're in the middle of a release cycle (today!), it's not going to be possible to get these changes made any time soon. Also, because Brikiwiki is part of our code base, some of the changes you've made may be reverted when we push our next release live (today!). Let's take a wait-and-see approach for now, and come back to this in a couple of days after (today's!) release settles.

Sure...no problem...take all the time you need. If I had realized how much "trouble" would be caused, I probably wouldn't have messed with the logo or other display settings. However, I sure like my christmas lights. :P 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

This sounds like the problem I am having. I have no idea about using code. I was hoping it was just a matter of uploading a new image. Is there a style sheet template that I can work with that isn't populated? Do you find this valuable?
