View Rule #11: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Wetpaint+Central+RulesI'll use an example to explain the Top Contributor Module. Lets say you have 5 members. M1 - 12 contributions - Last active December 12, 2008 M2 - 683 contributions - Last active October 1, 2009 M3 - 8 contributions - Last Active November 20, 2009 M4 - 1,872 contributions - Last Active November 19, 2009 M5 - 2 contributions - Last Active November 20, 2009 Okay with those stats I can make a list and explain it. 1. M4 2. M3 3. M5 The list is sorted by highest contributor active in that current week. Since M1 and M2 hadn't been active in the week, even though they have more contributions they will not be ranked. After activity is judged, it goes by highest total number of contributions. So even if M1 only gets 2 contributions in the week and M3 gets 500, since M1 has a higher total as long as he is active in the week, he will top the list.

how about having a categorize automatically by alphabet? I love the site, but having to manually organize the pages in alphabetical order (when I've created sub pages below a main index page) is a huge, huge pain. Maybe there's a way to implement this in the global settings somewhere?

You may want to try to make use of the Sitemap. At the way bottom of your wiki you should see a number of small links, the first one you see is "Contact Wetpaint". To the right of this link you will "Sitemap" click it, and all of the pages on your wiki will be in alphabetical order on this page.
If you can't find the link to the Sitemap, then add /sitemap to the end or your URL.

Hi - I deleted my profile template because I didn't want to answer those questions and just wanted to write a brief bio - but now there's no way to type anything. When I click Easy Edit, the toolbar shows up but but nothing else - no where to put my cursor to start typing. Any ideas would be super appreciated. Thanks.

A freind of mine was trying to make a account on my site, and he was creating a username and password but it wouldn't finish the sign up because when he would click continue it would show up the page saying that the site is blocked by wetpaint. Now he has never used wetpaint before. Is there a way I can help him??

I run a successful site. We always have members join and rarely have them leave, but when they do, I'd like someway to know why. I suggest when you choose to leave a wiki, there should also be a button as to why they are leaving.
Such as:
not interested
disappointed with content
joined by mistake
I think in general, it would help the creators get an idea why people leave.

" Why not put a poll on your wiki with those questions. There was a poll on Wetpaint recently to ask why they were canceling their memberships. Well someone here said tht the navigation (the one on the left of our screens) will now cover the "right rail" 300 px. area. But then someone else on here said it was gonna be completely removed. cAn someone clarify if its gonna be on the right rail, or gone forever because that's how I've been accessing my private wiki

Now, while the RPG problem has been solved, the Corporate sites have taken over. TV show wikis and Fan wikis especially. I'll tak eit upon myself to buiold a top-ten user created wikis list on my profile, and if it is approved as a page, I will post it. SInce there will only be ten sites, I will include a little description and some info on the creator/ head admin. What does everyone think?

exactly my train of thought, but even though i am a proud owner of a Warrior RPG site i agree. I think that deletion would help a lot, not just the option but something like if the site gets no views in a a year or no contribution in any form or message in a year then it would be automatically deleted

I have just created a private site and sent out an invitation to a few colleagues. However, when they click "Accept Invitation" it does not allow them to register and have access to the site. It tells them "this is a private site, request an invite from the administrator."
What am I doing wrong?
