Threads cannot take pictures. They are not designed to have them on because Wetpaint didn't want to have spammers or porn pictures added in threads. A few know how to add photos but it is against the terms of service to do it.

Wetpaint is only making hardware upgrades to their servers by implementing better hardware to improve server speed. In the next update, Wetpaint will not be adding new features to the wiki platform, so it is very doubtful that they will add support for Javascript widgets in the next update. With that being said, Wetpaint currently supports iFrame coding, so if you follow the instructions below, you will be able to add a script chatroom widget to your site.

In order to start this process, you need to determine which scriot embedded chatroom you prefer. Once you decide which chatroom you want to use, paste the embedded code of the chatroom in a Notepad document. After doing this, you need to save this Notepad document to your computer. When upu save the document, you can name it whatever you want, but make sure that you attach .html at the end of its title. You also need to change the File Type to include "All Files" rather than solely "Text Files". Now that the document is saved to your computer, you need to upload it to your site as an attachment. To do this, you need to go to any page on your wiki, select "More Tools", and add the Notepad document to your site. Open the attachment and find out what its URL is. Once you've attached the file, edit the page and paste the following code with the appropriate details into the "Other Widget".

The above piece of code is the iFrame coding that is compatible with Wetpaint. Once you have pasted the proper code to the "Other Widget" and saved the page, the chatroom will appear on the page. As you eluded to above, you can only adopt a site if no moderator or administrator has been active on the site for more than six months. If this requirement has been met, you need to send me the following information in a message: the username of the member who wants to adopt the site, the web address of the site, and an explanation as to why this person wants to adopt the site. Once you do this, I will assess whether or not this person has met the above requisites. As long as the above requisites have been met, I will pass the information along to Vanessa, my contact at Wetpaint, and ask her to promote the person who wishes to adopt the site to the rank of administrator. Once this person is an administrator, they are now in complete control of the site and have the power to do whatever they want.

However, anyone who wants to adopt a site with an inactive creator must understand that, if the creator returns, the creator has every right to demote that person from their newly appointed position. Wetpaint will not get involved and repromote the person who adopted the site if this occurs. This policy only applies to a site whose creator retained the position of "Creator" and went inactive. A creator who canceled their account and rejoined the community has no power over the fate of their site. By canceling their membership, they relinquished their power as the creator of their website. Therefore, if someone adopted a site where the creator is no longer a member, they would retain their power over the site even if the creator restored their membership.

If you want the individual history of the entire homepage to be deleted, you will have to go through each version of the homepag and manually delete them from the history of the homepage. To do this, you must be a moderator or an administrator. Since you do not have that status on the wiki at the present moment, I suggest that you ignore this method and resolve your issue with the following solution. There is a way for Wetpaint to delete your site from its server. This will not only remove its presence from the server, but it will also delete its existence on Google. If you want your site deleted by Wetpaint, please send me a message with the following information: your username, the site's web address, and the reason you want the site to be deleted. Once you give me this information, I will pass it along to our contact at Wetpaint, who will delete your site as soon as possible.

If you have edited the code properly and still cannot get your Grooveshark Playlist to work, there is another workaround you can use that will work if you do it right. If you have already created your Grooveshark Playlist, you need to copy and paste the original, not modified, embedded code to a Notepad document. As long as you are using a Windows computer, you will be able to find Notepad by searching through your computer's files. Once you've pasted the original embedded code of the playlist to Notepad, save the document. When saving the document, you can name it whatever you want, but make sure that you attach .html to the end of the file's name. Make sure you change the "File Type" of the document from "Text" to "All Files". Once you've completed all these steps, you need to attach this Notepad document to your site. The attachment tool is located in the "More Tools" editing section. Once you've attached the file to one of your pages, open the attached file and copy the URL of the attachment. Now that you have the URL of your Notepad document, which contains your playlist, you need to plug the required information into the following equation:

Once you've filled out this form with the appropriate information, paste the entire form into the "Other Widget". If you have done all the steps above correctly, you will be able to see your newly created Grooveshark playlist. Hey Joe,

As CryingDove explained above, a year ago, Wetpaint installed an automatic IP banning system to hinder spammers from doing too much damage to a site. After a certain number of contributions within a given interval of time, the system will activate and automatically ban the IP responsible for this sudden surge in activity. In this case, OtisBDriftwood added too many photos and edited too many pages within a small span of time, which triggered the system to ban his IP. The advice that CryingDove posted above should be passed onto OtisBDriftwood, as it is good advice. However, I passed Otis's IP onto Wetpaint and asked them to increase the threshold at which the IP banning system is activated for his IP. I expect that his IP limit will be increased in the next few days. However, even with an increased threshold, OtisBDriftwood could still be banned if he contributed to a wiki too frequently; therefore, it is best to ask OtisBDriftwood to edit the pages at a less frequent pace.

Like bellswebster said, it's best to invite your friends to join. You can also go on other RP sites and try to make new friends, and then see if they want to join. Sometimes all it takes is some persistance to find people who are open to joining a new site.
