Help retrieving username and password
I have set up a Wetpaint site for a group of people who do not know much about Wetpaint. I told one of them (who is not in the same state as me) how to set up an account and he messed it up. He filled out the form and then got scared that the page was unsecure and x'ed out of it. So now, when he goes to create an account, the page says there is already an account with that e-mail. I have asked him if he knows his username and password that he put on the form and he doesn't know. He said he "cancelled" the registration, but I think it must have went through. I sent him a password reset e-mail hoping he coudl at least get some information about what his username and passowrd are form that, but he said it is too confusing and he didn't reset hte password. Is there any way I can get his username and password or any way somethign coudl eb sent to him./ He doesn't have a clue what he is doing on the site and has never used it before, and I cannot really help him from another state since I do not have access to his e-mail account to walk him through the password reset process, so any help would be appreciated!

Does Wetpaint have any keywords?
Is it possible to put placeholder information in that the WetPaint app will parse, like #USERNAME#, #USERID# and so forth? Or, are there any keywords that I can use when createing widgets to determine if the user is logged in?

one profile not showing on main page
My site has 16 members (and counting) but one of them doesn't show on the main members page. You can only pull up her profile by searching for her exact user name or by clicking on her profile when it shows up a as friend on someone else's profile. How can I get it to show on the main page?

Impossible to get a user name
I tried to sign up for an account, but computer rejected every user name I tried over about a 15 minute period. I got to the point where I was randomly mixing any letter and number my fingers happened to fall upon. Each attempt received a message that the user name was taken. Something like 9d6v8b4k2e7m5m3o8 already taken!!!!!????? This was a very frustrating first attempt at a wikki

Unable to register or sign in
I signed up w/ a username & password, but then when I got to the "create site" part, it told me it didn't recognize me. When I tried to get around it by resetting my password & sign in again, it told me that email address was already taken... of course it is, it's me! Am I supposed to have received an email confirming my Wetpaint registration? I did not. What am I doing wrong?

New Username
Can I change my username, or do I have to create a new profile? Secondly, when I tried to create a new username, it responded that the name was already in use - however, when I check All Members, I don't see the name being used. Is this possible?

making a username
everytime i get on the page for making your username the page quickly changes and says:
Based on the information you have supplied us you are ineligible to create a username
or something like that
Please help me!!!!

What user name?
I must have joined wetpaint in another lifetime. Now I want to belong to Join the Impact and cannot remember my user name. The site says my email address is already registered. It give no option to recover your username.

Signing in
For some reason, the signing in box is not active. Each time I hit Post reply, the box comes up, but the fields are not active. I cannot write my username and password ib them. Have tried many times during today, with no effect.. What's wrong?!

Invite students to educational wiki
I am setting up private wikis for my students. Most of my students do not have email. I would like to set up a fake email for the use of this wiki only. The problem is that I cannot send invitations and get replies. I am desperate to get this going because we have a lot of work that we want to do in the wiki. Please give me suggestions for getting my student signed up without email.

How to change the Admins user name?
I just created my second wiki. I came directly to wetpaints homepage and started a wiki from scratch. When I was asked if I already had an account I acknowledged that I did. I don't see anywhere in wiki #2 under the settings or my profile where I can change my user name to be uniqe to wiki #2. In wiki #2 all users will be acknowledged by their real name. Ideally when creating wiki #2 when I was asked if I was an account holder I should have declined so I could use my real name and not my screen name from wiki #1.
Any help would be appreciated.

rename username
I wish I could log in and "kill" my username. When I joined a new wiki I was a little unsure about using my 'natural name' instead of a pseudonym. didn't realize I couldn't make that change.
I guess I'll start from another email account. . . . . ...
Is there a strong reason why this is not an option?
