Homepage problem.
I am currently having a problem with my homepage. See, I added a lot of tags to it to make it easier to find on Google and other search engines. On the bottom, it has a new thread that you can start open. Well, my problem is that the tags from the homepage extend the homepage so that there is a huge blank space there. I am trying to make my site look professionial, but a Wetpaint glitch will not help. i know this has been reported before, but I'm helping to remind you. You guys are doing great, just try to include this in your update. if you don't understand what I mean, look at my homepage and see the glitch:

Tagging Limits
I see that you recommend limiting the number of tags for a page, but I have a reason for wanting to use (ahem) more than a few tags on my "home" page.
That said, I would really like to know, from a technical perspective, if there is a hard limit to the number of tags I can add to a page.
FWIW, I find that for some pieces of data I may want to add a good number of tags because I just might not remember exactly how I tagged something later and want to still be able to find it. If that makes sense.

Keywords
The American Library Association will agree with you wholeheartedly with the use of keywords. Among librarians, we call it "cataloging". Excellent advice!

Tags and searching do not appear to function?!
Although I have added tags (keywords) they are not found by the search engine in wetpaint. It would seem as though the engine in wetpaint can only locate pages with specific names, not pages that contain the keywords you choose to search for. In other words, are the keywords you add, only inserted as metadata for general web search engines? Also, a whole list of keywords appear when one adds a keyword, not just keywords that would be pertinent to the page being constructed. So are these keywords pasted into the metadata for all the pages on a wiki site?
I do not understand what this search engine is looking for and what the keywords are referring to as they seem to be useless for searching inside one's site.

Minor, Minor Glitch...
....But still very annoying. I had just added a tag for a new page on my site, Barnstarpedia, and I selected a template. I looked up, and my tags were...GONE! I had to rewrite them. Please fix this bug. I use IE 7, the URL is http://barnstarpedia.wetpaint.com, and it happens on ALL wetpaint wikis as far as I know.

Tag cloud
It might just be that I haven't found it, but it seems that the tag cloud is only available after doing a search. I'd love to have it there on the front page so visitors/members see straight away what's there on the site. Often people don't know what to search for and having the tag cloud gives them ideas of what's around ... is that possible?

Tags versus categories
Perhaps this page could reveal the differences between those things.

Can Tags be restricted to a specific list by the Administer?
I've been looking for a easy to use hosted Wiki solution and thought Wetpaint was the answer. However, one of my key requirements is to setup a pre-defined list of tags that users assign to topics. From what I've seen in Wetpaint each user can free-form enter what ever tags they want for their topic - is it possible to restrict the tags to a pre-defined list? If not can someone recommend another wiki solution similiar to Wetpaint that can provide me with this functionality? Thanks in advance.

Using Keyword Tags
What is a Keyword? A keyword is a word or set of words that are descriptive and specific to your site or page's topic. For example, let's say you make a page about healthy dog food. Good keywords: Healthy dog food, healthy dog food, f
