Tag Cloud / Browse by Keyword display hangs with "Loading..."
Hi Phil et al --
Is there a problem with the tag indexing and tag cloud display at the moment?
It seemed to die on Thursday 7/9/09 this week on my Wiki ( http://edm641.wetpaint.com ) and this one (Central) too.
(I just get "Loading..." notification only).
Browser/OS:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060214 Firefox/3.0.11
and

Is it just me?

Keyword Search Tag Cloud
It would be really useful and interesting to have the keyword search list or tag cloud available in the navigation column on the right side of my pages. This would be a wonderful feature or option for any wiki. Any chance of this happening?

Can I keyword tag an attachment? I have attachments focusing on different topics, and I want to be able to search and find them individually.

What happens when one entry could fit in two categories?
On my wiki www.thesourcecode.wetpaint.com, I am categorizing parapsychological research by category. Categories like: Consciousness, Mythology, Psi Phenomena, Life, Death, etc.
My question is what happens when an entry fits in more than one category? What do I tell the users who ask me this?
The best I've come up with is to add the appropriate tags. But of course this is not much help without a tag cloud for users to surf.
What can I do?

Tag Cloud in Search results not working for me. Why ?
I do any serch on my site (poolwerxzees.wetpaint.com) and I get "There are no keyword tags." under "Browse by Keywords", yet I do have tags.
Any ideas why not working ?

Don't hide the tag cloud! Put it on the home page.
Tags are useful, but they're much more useful if you can see them. Make the tag cloud easier to display! For example, you could put a "Display tag cloud" button right beneath the search box, or put the entire tag cloud on the home page! (It should be on the left, because that's for navigation. You could make room for it by moving "Top Contributors" and such to the right side.)
I didn't even know about the tag cloud until I had been using "my" wiki for a while (the wiki that I'm a member of...). Sometimes it was there, but usually not. I've used them on other sites and found them useful, so I wanted to use it here, but I could never find it.
After a while I figured out that it appears AFTER you do a search. I don't know of any other way to display it. Even after you figure that you have another problem. If you use a good search term when you want to display the cloud, then Wetpaint will make a slow time-consuming search just to show it to you. I work around that by searching for something that I know Wetpaint can quickly figure out isn't there, for example zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. That takes me to a "0 occurences found" message quickly, and so the tag cloud is displayed quickly as well.
Please make it easier!

Keyword Tags
What are the keyword tags and how do I add or modify them? Keyword tags help other people using this site quickly find information that interests them. You can add these tags to pages and threads when you create them or any other time.
