Isn't it ironic that on this page, it says that people should use tables correctly, yet they have clearly created a table with too many rows.

Centering Tables and Text, Need Help
Alright... So the text issue. On the home page I set the font at Impact and came back later to find that it had been reversed to Arial.
On the table issue...
Any table that I center is automatically put back into the left-hand side after I leave the page or refresh it. Any centered title or text in the table are put back to the left as well. I tried re-centering them, but I couldn't, even if I clicked on the center on the Wrap Text options.
I could use the help ASAP as I'm trying to put together a roleplaying site and open it tonight or tomorrow.

You see.... Whenever I make a table and then leave my profile, and then come back to it, something always changes. The picture might move, the text isn't their, my banner becomes inactive, it is beginning to annoy me. Please explain what it might be........

Glitch regarding profile tables / Formatting issue
Hello~
Well, I'll try to be prompt. On a wetpaint I have been updating my profile -- normal -- but whenever I add a table or type in an existing table that has been added since this problem has begun to occur, I can use any font, any color, and bold or underline text, but it is italicized. The italicized "I" on the EasyEdit toolbar is highlighted, and when I click it it stays highlighted. If I were to copy-and-paste text, it would instantly be italicized. It doesn't seem to be on any other page or site.

Locking Cells?
Is there any way that I can lock a particular cell in a table?
This would allow users to enter data in the table without changing the heading for example.

Column Sizing
I'm trying to resize columns on a table - there are 7 columns and 25 rows. The resize action takes forever (can take minutes, even with fewer rows) and it usually does not resize where I've indicated, plus it screws up other columns.
Am I doing something wrong? Does this edit not work on the free sites?

The table won't work??
Every time I insert a table and try to save it, it won't work, it says that an unknown error occurred and to reload the page a try again, but that doesn't work either.

adding backgrounds to the pages
ok i know that there isn't supposed to be any HTML support and what not. but i noticed a few sites with backgrounds for the wiki like this one >http://artshares.wetpaint.com/< for example. can someone tell me how this is done please?
also how do you change the colors of the borders on the tables...

Adding Pictures and Tables
I was able to add these items before, but for some reason the only thing that shows up when I add it is text, and links. I put the table in, but it won't show it. I tried to add screencaps but none of my photo's show on the page; they go into the site photo album, but won't show on my page. Can someone help me?

"Control-Click" not bringing up
I'm trying to add rows/columns to a table using my mac, and when I "control-click" as instructed, a menu for the columns does not come up. Whatsup?

columns
I have made a table across the page with 4 columns in it, giving m 5 boxes.
Every time i try to put a picture in one of the boxes it throws the sizes off.
Can I set a permanent size on a table, so that it wont move when i insert text or pictures?

it is the page that i am expeirmenting on. but i am trying to add pictures inside the boxes, then place a text beneath the picture. that way i can add a link to another page.
the problem is that the boxes get bigger when i add the pics, and i cant add text beneth the pics. can someone help?
But like i said this is an experiement and will be done on my home page with real pictures.

Adding & Editing tables on my home page
I know how to open up the tables, and i can experiment with the pixels and margins.
But what i need help with is setting a table in different locations on the page and adding text. Every time i hit the "save" button it pushes the table to the right or left margin. and the text line is in the center of the table, enlarging the table as i type.
How do I set a table off the side of the page and keep it there?
and how do I add text to the table without it making the the table larger?
And how do I begin the text line at the top left margin of the text box

Copying and pasting tables
I have been cutting and pasting tables into my wetpaint sites since September (I have them set up with colors and borders, etc. and it's just easier to cut and paste for a new week than to start from scratch). The last few times I have tried to do this, as soon as I "paste" the computer acts like it's thinking, and the cursor blinks super-fast and nothing gets copied. I wait and wait and nothing happens, I eventually have to close the progam down using task manager. Not sure why I could do this before and can't do it now...can you help? losing vertical lines in table colums
This started after re-booting my computer: FIREFOX V 3.03 - Mac OS X V 10.5.4; I am losing vertical lines in my 2 column tables. Happens on different page, http://www.kundaliniyogainfocntr.com/page/Kundalini+Yoga+Mantras+R+-+S;
