Move Google Analytics tracking code to <head> section.
Google Analytics tracking code should be moved from <body> to <head> section.
It shouldn't cause any problems to Wetpaint and would allow Wetpainters to authorize within Google Webmaster Central giving much more possibilities to manage their sites.
Sorry if it has been already requested - couldn't find it :(

s u g g e s t i o n - bringing back threads
Is there already a suggestion for users to revive delete threads? Or, at least, an administrator to bring back a deleted thread? Sometimes, we need to look at past information, and a mod deleted it before we have a chance to look at it. Or, we see someone breaking a rule, and somebody deletes the thread, and we have no further proof to them doing it.

If You Want to make your site Non-contributable for a while...
It would be astimactalicty awesome if the site /administrators/ could make the site be non-contibutable for a while... You know, when your fixing a bug, you make us only be able to look at the site.. It would be cool if we, administrators, could make our site be not open for contributing. But all the moderators could still be editing the pages, just the writers and below couldn't edit, post on threads, or make any sort of contributing.

Okay. I have a suggestion.
As many of us know, we receive many messages in our inbox. Sometimes, I need to look at a message sent from a certain member, or a message with a certain subject. Well, if it has been deleted, there is likely to be MANY other messages all on top of it. So, my suggestion comes down to this:
A search box, that allows you to type text in, that refers to your inbox. When you click enter, the engine searches for that text, in your inbox, and lists all of the messages with similar text and shows them. Then you can select the message you were looking for, without the hassle of looking through thousands of other messages.

Making Accounts
I think when creating a wetpaint account you should ave to verify the account by
e-mail. You know like when you put in your e-mail, a message shall be sent to that e-mail and you'll have to go into your e-mail and approve of it in able to use your account.
There has been millions of wetpaint users who like to mess with websites and harass websites by making a fake account with a fake e-mail. This is how some sites get messed up when a creator promotes someone who is really an enemy under another username. I know all the person has to do is create or use another e-mail but this may stop some cases of harassment.

The site I work on as above uses Albums heavily and we have around 140 so far!!!!
We'd like to ask the following.
1) Can you add Albums to search results? At the moment Albums don't appear in the search results, and it would be good if they did. Also maybe have a tab for Album results only?
2) Can you add sort options. You can't sort Albums, can you add it such that you can sort the Albums by "Name", "Date Created", "Date Saved" etc
3) Can you have it such that the pictures are not fuzzy if you resize the album widget? When I do so pictures look messy, can you fix that somehow?
If you have any questions for me then don't hesitate to ask.

Anyone else find this irritating?
I am a member/creator of numerous wetpaint sites but as off very recently I have found something that really irks me... Whenever I go to a page I get this ad for that movie The Dilemma popping right into my line of site. I can't see a part of the page I'm on and it really, really, bothers me. I'm not interested in purchasing the upgraded version of wetpaint just to get rid of ads, I have never minded them before, they haven't bothered me. This one is the only case where I am aggrivated out of my mind and frankly it's counter-productive to it's purpose.. I had no desire to view this movie before, but now the very mention of the title just puts me in a bad mood. I realize this may sound dramatic, but I know I'm not the only one among the sites that I'm on that feel this way about it. It hampers editing, and blocks view of information and media that may fall under it.
Now moving on from the rant.. I suggest finding a way for ads that exceed the margins of the side of the page like this (that you can't simply close out of), either make a function to close/minimize them, or find a way for the ad to push the page away from it so that it doesn't cut into the page itself.

Suggestion of something from the past
I think Superpainters should be brought back. Is it really that hard to work with and giving back to the sites by having members of wetpaint become superpainters would be a fun and good goal for the creative artisy types.

Another suggestion
Wetpaint really should change the cancel membership feature to where, if you're a creator, you can keep your position when you come back, that way, if you are hacked and they cancel your membership, you don't have to become an Admin.
I also think this is a good idea because there could be a possibility that you thought you trusted someone of your site, and when you made them an admin, they banned you because you are now and admin (thanks to cancelling your membership) and admins can ban other admins, but an admin cannot ban a creator.

Suggestion
The ability to delete sites, I know a lot of people have sites that they don't use anymore and there should be the ability to delete the site so the url can be free again for other users to have.
I know personally I have a few sites that I regret taking the url for and wish I could delete it XD

Chat Bar
My friends and I always thought that it would be cool to have a chat bar. I was thinking that it could be located on the bar where it says: Signed in: snow1324 (sign out) My Wetpaint . Since there is so much empty space on the left.
It would be even more awesome if you couyld talk to users from other sites on the chat bar. It could show like; Fern.lover.101 (1) for showing that the member replied. I don't know, something like that would be cool. (:

My (not-so-important) Suggestion
I can name four "Styles" that are the exact same but with different colors; "Cerulean", "Deep Red", "Meadow Green", and "Peach".
However, I noticed another difference. This difference is with Table Borders. While "Meadow Green" has a "matching" border (it's Green), "Cerulean", "Deep Red", and "Peach" have black borders.
My suggestion is, well... For "Cerulean", give it a Cyan Table Border, for "Deep Red", give it a Dark Red Table Border, and for "Peach", give it a Pale Orange Table Border.

Name . Change
I think you should really be able to change your username. I made this username a long time ago, and hate it, but if I were to make a whole new account, I would have to re-join all of my sites and lose my contributions. For me, it seems like a lose-lose situation. Bad username, or a lot of unnecessary work.

Message/Thread Extras
I think in messages & Threads we should be able to do different colors for the text, whether we want it bold, italics, or underlined and different fonts. Because when I am trying to emphasize a word in messages I have to put it in caps lock which makes me look mad/yelling. So please consider adding this

Example of a comments adjusted in a thread
Information I personally think is unnecessary / breaks my sites rules. I don't want to delete their entire comment, but instead edit / remove the section of their comment that breaks the rules. (For example, if someone writes a very useful comment, but includes an email address / website, I would edit their comment and remove the email address / website. This way I don't have to delete their entire comment)
