There's a giant problem with the member's only option
no one can join? -seriously, that screws everything up. I'm trying to make a resource with member's phone numbers, but I don't want just anyone to be able to see them, only members. So I try making the site members only, but then it says no one can join like that!
Is there any way around this? -if not, someone at Wetpaint should really do something because this cripples the utility of a wiki, not being able to add new members.

How do I make my site private?
I use my site for educational purposes and want only members of the class to be able to view it. I had to make it public to let the class members join. How do I make the site private again?

Is it possible to set up an educational wiki so that while anyone can view the wiki, I must approve or invite all members? I would like my students' work to be visible, but I don't want random people to join the wiki, only be able to view it.
