  • Delete wetpaint account Can anyone tell me how to delete my entire account? I don't have a website or anything, I'm just a member and I don't need this account anymore. Does that make sense? Anyways, please and thank you anyone out there!

  • make it easier to add new members to private sites we are having a lot of difficulties adding new members to our private site, we REALLY don't want to have it public to add members THEN go private again, cos then it defeats the purpose of being private in the first place. Our new members work across different timezones, so there is no way for moderators to know when they are likely to sign in, thereby limiting the window of the site being public.
Such a limitation doesn't make any sense to users who want to grow the community but in a structured, orderly fashion? Will the feature to add members without going public be available anytime soon?

  • New member sign in form There should be a notice in sign in form reminding new users to create their own wetpaint.sites. At present I do not approve any new member to my educational site and ban them. I believe, many new member did not want to be a member to specifically to my site but to www.wetpaint.com site; they probably were trying to create their site but ended up being a member to my site. They never answered to my e-mails.

  • Problems Creating a Site I logged into wetpaint with my username and password. I joined as a member of another site, and wanted to create my own. But when I get to the part of creating a site when it asks for my password, it doesn't work. It's weird, because I was able to login initially.

  • Is he a member or not? Hi, I recently sent an invitation for a friend of mine (moderator status), and I think he accepted, because he told me he tried to enter a discussion (however it only said "not found"). When I check the member list though, I don't find him. Is this why he's getting "not found"? Why is he not in the list?
    Any help is appreciated :)

  • Can't send email to members! I see lots of discussion about this problem but no answers.
When i click on a member profile icon and click on Send Message it open the email box with the member name in it but then a red x appears next to that name. When I mouse over the X it says "can't send email". It does that to everyone.
I am the creator and administrator of the site.
I NEED people to be able to email each other!!
    Thanks.

  • member profile content deleted Hello,

One of my site's members has lost the profile information he added... is there a way to retrieve it? I've tried clicking through to previous versions of his profile, but they all come up with the blank, current, page.

What happened was that his membership was accidentally cancelled. We've gotten him reinstated, but the profile info is gone. Can anyone offer suggestions?

    Thanks.

  • non-member page I am the creator of a wiki that requires an invitation to join, and I'm trying to figure out how to customize the page that folks would see if they have not yet been invited (I want to post this URL on my related, non-Wetpaint website). At the very least, I would like to have it have the same logo that is on the pages invited members see. How do I do this??

I believe it's in the Settings option where you can see a sample "Seattle Mountain Bikers" page that has this set up... the page non-members would view, with their logo at the top. All I get is my site name, even though I've set my webpages to display a logo instead. Any advice?

  • private wiki non-member page Is there a way to change/enhance the page that non-members see if they go to a private wiki? It would be nice to be able to put the same logo, for example, as is on the main pages. It would also be nice to customize more of the message there, so the header can say something more personal or site-specific than "XXX is a Private Wiki". If there's a way to do this, could someone give me a hint?

    Thanks

  • searching member profile content I'm setting up a new site. Is there a way for my users to search for other users with similar interests based on their profiles? The site search does not seem to pick up terms on profile pages (other than keyword tags), and the search for members seems to only search for user names. I'm using a template for profiles and don't want to have to have users repeat phrases and answers in the keywords (because realistically they won't) to make a search work.

    Thanks!

  • search member profile content? The "search this site" bar does not seem to search member profiles for content. Is there a way to do this? "Member search" only searches for a member's name. I'm interested in finding who on my site has shared interests, based on their responses to questions in the profile template.

  • Administrator not showing as Member and not as top contributor I was invited to be an administrator of http://goinggreen.wetpaint.com/ and am one now. I have added quite a few pages lately and noticed that I am not showing on the top contributor bubble even though when I click on 'What's New' I see that I have done the most contributions since the site's inception. Then I noticed that I am not even showing on the member's page. How do I get my account as an administrator to also show that I am a member of this wetpaint site?
