Where is my invite button?
Why can't I invite people to my private site anymore? I'm not allowed to have it public, as it's a game related site and people are only supposed to be able to use it if they ask me in-game...

Private Sites aren't Private
If I have to make a site public to invite people, that defeats the intent to be a private site. Why can't I simply add the people to the site from inside?

Invite others section??
Neither of these two options appear when I try to "invite" The box looks the same as your example about but there's no CAPTCHA that appears or the specify what these users can do section...
Specify what the user(s) can do on the site in the "These users can:" section Fill in the CAPTCHA so we know you are a real live human and not an evil spam computer.

See who has been invited
Can I see a list somewhere of the people that I have invited to my wiki?

Um.... O.O
I have safari and it has restricted me from logging in onto wetpaint. I am an administrator on http://warriorcatsheaven.wetpaint.com and I can't log on because of the new log in system. Firefox doesn't work on my computer either. Does that mean I can't be on the site anymore?

Changes to invite process?
I just invited new members and noted a change in the process... the popup window no longer looks like the one on this page... I did not have the opportunity to set their status as writer vs. moderator (I'm site administrator), and I no longer have the option to view the status of invitations (were they sent, were they accepted, etc.). What has happened? I really valued these features.

invitation rejected - how can they accept now?
I have invited some parents & kids that I teach. If the parents entered the kids birthdate, I now understand that they must be 13 years old. When the parent tries to join with their birthdate, they are still rejected. Is there any option beside removing the current cookies that will allow them to accept the invitation??
THANKS

Do invitations expire?
Hi.
I sent out invitations to my class; they are mostly returning adults with full-time jobs, and many don't read their e-mail regularly. A few of the students did register. After a couple of days, the "reminder" links next to the non-registered e-mails disappeared. I couldn't figure out a way to renew these invitations, so I re-sent out a whole new batch, and got a few more registrants, but again the "resend invite" link disappeared. Question 1: Can students who have not yet registered use the original e-mail to register, or has their invitation expired? Question 2: Is there some way of clearing out those old invitations that have expired? Thanks!

E-mail invite not received
I created a new private Wiki and sent one invitation to a partner in Australia. He never got the invite. I resent the invite and that one was never received either. He has validated that his spam filter did not block it. I sent an invite to myself at an alternate e-mail address and received it. A 50% success rate is not good. I have spoken with others who have tried to create private wikis on Wetpaint and they indicated that they had the same issue.
Can you confirm that the email to gavinwh@tpg.com.au was actually sent?
Thanks, Doug

Invites getting lost or are very slow
I'm trying to invite my students to a course wiki... they never seems to get the invite. They say spam isn't the problem.
They're not very happy. I want to keep the site private. I've tried inviting in batch and one at a time.

Invite Others
Important Notice : Invitations sent from private sites are no longer supported. If you have a private site you will need to change the site permissions settings to make the site public so that invited users can join. Once members have joined
