  • Site disappeared from Google search My site www.gayghana.org (www.gayghana.wetpaint.com) quickly moved to the first page of google search within a few weeks. It stayed there for about 2 months. then it suddenly disappeared (checked the first 5 pages). I re-registered the page several times but it does not make a difference. Its not that other more active sites have pushed it down. Most sites that appear on the first page of google search are old news and have been there long time. Does anyone know what may have caused the removal of the site in Google Search and what to do about it? I wonder if someone has flagged it as inappropriate (the site has no porn or X-rated content in it).

  • sudden changes in site management Hi, Since one week I noticed some unexpected changes in the working of my site (www.gayghana.org resp. www.gayghana.wetpaint.com).
1 Google search does not see me anymore (before I was always on the first page)
    2. People I invite do not get the invitation even though I get the confirmation that the invitations were sent successfully
3 No new members have registered since one week (normally average 2 per day) despite intensive promotion in that period.
What is going on? I have made no significant changes other than tekst, pics and video additions.
There is only one other person with monitor status but he did not change anything either
Please explain what happened and how to restore proper funcitoning of the wiki.

  • Verify site for Google bot Google requests me to put a metatag in the header of the homepage. I assume you need access to html for that, Can I do this?
My wiki was in the first page at google searches for quite a while but now it disappeared and I cant find it anymore, at least not in the first 5 pages. Someone know why and what to do about it?

  • www.northadelaidegolfclub.wetpaint.com I am the creator of www.northadelaidegolfclub.wetpaint.com. The main reason for this message is that despite my best efforts I cannot get this website to appear on a Google search. I desperately need your assistance to rectify this situation.

I am in Australia and I am using a custon URL (nagc.org.au) that is based in Australia.

I have been looking at alternatives to WetPaint because of this issue but would prefer to stay with WetPaint if it can be resolved. I need someone to analyse my site to see what needs to change to fix the problem.

  • They work, but you just need to go to this area. Go to you'r site, and login of course. Then click on the far right upper corner which will say " Settings". Then click "statistics". Then click Google anilistics. Then just copy and paste you code there.
