  • Glogs Gone My site lost all glog formatting about 2 months ago. Message on the pages says to download new version of flash player...this makes no difference. All my members, regardless of platforms/browsers, experience this same glog loss. Suggestions? Other widgets are fine.

  • Invites can't be accepted! When my students accept the invite through their various e-mail accounts they are directed to a page that says it is a private site and they should request an invite for access. I don't get it. They already received an invite! There ar 75+ students reporting problems at the moment. The addresses with the problem are
    http:// chemistryfish.wetpaint.com, chemistryfish2.wetpaint.com, chemistryfish3.wetpaint.com and chemistryfish4.wetpaint.com.

  • Member rights I sent more invites out to join my private site but when the new users login, they only see the Member Login screen again. And they can't login again or progress to the site. I logged in as administrator and they aren't showing in my list to where I can change their rights.

  • Let me re-try this (I did it wrong the first time) Ok, I didn't see the form you layed out for us to use (SORRY!!!), here is my complaint again;

Please include the following information if reporting a bug:

    * The URL of the site or page where you encountered the problem: www.wessigns.wetpaint.com
but this happens on ALL WETPAINT SITES.

    * Your web browser and operating system you used when you discovered the bug: Firefox, but this happens with explorer too.

    * As much detail as possible (what, where, how, why, when?):

And answer the following questions in your post:

    * I was trying to sign in, but wetpaint fixed the sign in thing so now I can sign in.
    * Describe what you saw when the problem happened: The pop-up started to come up but then a window came up saying "I'm sorry, we had a problem."
    * Describe any error messages you received: "I'm sorry, we had a problem."

    * What were you expecting to happen?: before or after the message?

So anyway, I can't read messages, edit pages, send complements, or anything else that requires a wetpaint pop-up.

  • Invitations otdait. wetpaint is a private wiki. I noticed today when sent an invitation that I can no longer set the level of the new member and I also cannot see who I invited previously. This is a wiki for certain government employees who happen to have many alias email addresses. If they forget their password, they don't necessarily know which email address I used to invite them so this creates a problem. I don't see anything in the release notes about these changes.

  • Teacher needs help! Hello. I created a site for 2 of my classes. 40 of my students were able to join without a problem. A handful of the students received my email invitation from Wetpaint, "joined" but do not show up as members on our class site. One girl got a message saying that her email was already taken (but it is a very distinctive email address). Help!

  • easy edit tool bar is not seen on an added page. URL: durgasapatasati.wetpaint.com
I added a page. I am not able to have access to easy edit.
    URL: panchatantramu.wetpaint.com

I added a page. I am not able to access the easy edit tool bar.

PLease indicate what is to be done to access the tool bar. I didn't face this problem earlier. If the added page can have access to the editor it would encourage the authors to contribute.

  • When will new members be invited to Wetpaint again? I have an educators site at http://tecsuzukiviolin.wetpaint.com . None of my new students can log in. I have submitted them many many times. They are so frustrated and they are talking me into going to
another site. And hosting it myself.
This is a very bad time to have problems with logging in new students. We are all starting a new school year with lots of new information to get out to students in a timely way.
I don't like being made a fool of infront of my students.
Let me know if this is an unfixable problem.
I'll be busy looking for safer solutions until I hear from you.

  • Help ! My home page is broken I am using Firefox 3.0.7. When I try to edit my home page, most of the lower half is greyed out. I've also tried using explorer but that's on version 6 so I've been warned about incompatability.

The wiki is my lydney hockey page - url is http://lydneyhockey.wetpaint.com/

I added the information that is in there now with no problems. I don't get any sort of error message, just a small editable pane but the rest greyed out right down past the thread and attachment section.

Thanks for any help you can give me,
    Bridget

  • Help - ongoing formatting error Thr problem is repeatedly occuring on http://gamilaraay.wetpaint.com and an example is on http://gamilaraay.wetpaint.com/page/Session+8
My web browser and operating system - Windows Explorer 6 and 8 - Vista and XP - keeps occurring on different computers

The page looks good and then when I save it large gaps appear in the page - please see 2 pictures in the User Reported Bug photo album both tagged with formatting. titled 'Formatting bug - view when saved' and 'Formatting bug image 2'

When I return to the edit mode it looks good!!!! But if I try and delete or backspace between the lines they won't budge.

Have tried removing all bullets and heading modes back to normal but still continue to see problem. Very frustating!! As we are teaching via this medium and it is being used as a model for others Australia wide!

It first appeared in template I made. I no longer use the template but still the error is occurring.

    No error messages received.
It just looks like huge gaps on the screen which makes the page very unattractive.

Hope someone can help on this matter.

  • Reporting an Interesting Bug Hi,

I'm one of the admins of from the Zombie Survival Wiki. (www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com)

I recently recieved a request for help from one of our members. She had been reformatting her profile and had it sorted. However, whenever she hit the save button her profile turned out like this:

    http://www.zombiesurvivalwiki.com/account/ViolentKisses

No one knows how she managed to get material above the User Information bar.

Her profile appears that way when viewed with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox 3.0.

I hope I supplied you with enough information to address the issue.

Thanks for any help in advance,

    Marsden

  • More formatting options I find that the formatting options are too limiting. Adding more fonts, colors and the option of editing the Page Names and the tool bar at the top of homepage would really enhance the wetpaint wiki.

  • More formatting tools for threads and comments I wish tehre were either WYSIWYG tools available or HTML allowed in threads. Would be great to be able to post clickable links!

  • Editor loses formatting (often!) The editor often loses some of the formatting on a page.
Two examples today, on page - http://boult.wetpaint.com/page/Family+Page+-+BOULT+Thomas+%281802%2C+Market+Drayton%29+%E2%80%93+Ann+DOWNS+%281800%2C+Newcastle%29

    1. The table "headings" were centred. After doing some unrelated editing and saving teh pages, the headings became left aligned.

    2. The tables did have visible cell boarders (plain lines). After doing some unrelated editing, all the cell borders were lost.

There are many other times the editor loses some element of formatting. And often adds or removes spaces, space lines.

With the editor being fairly unreliable, it is hard to use it for maintaining formatted documents.

  • Word formatting All my original site documents are in Microsoft Word. But when I paste them into my Wetpaint site, they lose all their formatting - bold, italics, underlining, and indents. Is there any quick way of restoring these, or do I have to go through each page to manually restore them?
