Time to do something with editor that is letting Wetpaint down badly.
The editor has been bad for a long time. It really lets WetPaint down badly.
It loses or changes formatting constantly, or refuses to change formats when requested.
Becuase it is so bad, I often try creating my stuff outside then pasting it in to the editor. But the results are so unpredictable that way too. Often even crashing Explorer, or just make it not respond.
One solution that was proposed was to allow users to post HTML code. Why not ?
Maybe you could give us, or tell us about, a reliableoffline editor that produces output that can be cut and paste into WetPaint editor, and give us a reliable, predictable result.
But, to me, it just doesn't make sense to go on ingoring such a weak link in the overall system.
Please do SOMETHING to improve the lopw quality current situation.

Problems formating text
I (along with others) am having major problems in formating texts. I click easy edit centre, bold, hit enter etc in order to make the writing look presentable click save and all/some of my formating has gone. click easy edit again and there it is as beautiful as ever.

Yet more edit bugs etc...so annoying
In the past I have written and read issues regarding editing and formating bugs and here we are yet again with more of the same. Its now getting rather irritating.

Relevant page - Homepage 13.20 hours on 4/10/08
So, I go to edit and try to move a picture, which I cant, but thats another story. So for safety I press cancel and it returns me to the homepage only to find that two or three of my boxes are missing edges (top/middle/side). So I go back to edit to find that they ARE in fact there. So I cancel edit again and look, they have disapeared again. In I go yet again to edit only to find other formatting items have changed. Like pictures moved closer to words, spacing out of sync etc..I cancel edit in case it rectifies itself and see that outside of edit its all fine. Inbetween each edit and cancel edit the edges on the boxes would be there one minute then the next gone again. So i now cant edit in case I bugger it up even more.
This is not the first time this kind of thing has happened and ite getting really annoying now, to the point that Wetpaint is looking unreliable. I love Wetpaint, but the edit features are so so important and they appear to be unreliable.
Also why the heck has the rest of the text format changed. For example the threads and side and top bar menus have had their format changed to another type (Ariel, Georgia etc..). Was this planned or is this another glitch?????

Strikethrough Formatting
I know that this was asked before, but how do you get strikethrough text ot show up on your blog. I did attempt to use the 2 discussions I found (the latest dated in 2007) to solve the problem. Sadly the suggestion to copy some strikethrough text and put it into my wiki while editing, wont work. I tried to copy and paste some text that has strikethrough attributes and the EasyEdit removed that, saying that the text was formatted to match the document.
Am I just out of luck?

Ongoing Upload Logo/Header Image Problems
I've been trying for several days to upload a logo to the header of my wiki for our internal company wiki. I think there is something wrong with the uploader. I've tried every format under the sun and in all different sizes under the 150 x 85 maximum allowable size. The uploader just keeps saying "loading" for literally hours and never does anything until I cancel the process. I know HTML and wish I could just add it as such, but if I must use the uploader tool, please tell me how to fix it so it will work. I'm desperate. Thank you in advance! :)

Formatting Disappears
My wiki is really text heavy, and formatting (tabs, returns, spacing, etc..) is REALLY important - and I spent a lot of time over the past few days formatting and reformatting, and it won't stick! I finally finish the last one, go check on the first page, and boom! all my formatting is GONE! It's all one poorly spaced paragraph...
Help - please - I need to have this fixed by Friday - I'm getting graded!
