Is there any way you guys could make it so that you could edit what you see without the template and start from scratch using an empty page and then creating the different looks while seeing what you get?

Site formatting gone crazy
I just tried to add a video to my page and it first widened the page to 2 screen widths, then it went to very narrow and all my text is in tall, very narrow columns. when I click on Easy Edit, the page widens again and the top half of the page is blank white, and only the lower portion of the page is visible. I have tried in IE and Chrome, and both the same.

Information on page ....GONE!
When trying to edit on my home page and saving it....I've lost everything on that page! I didn't do anything different than usual. I tried creating new things on there after the page went blank and nothing will stay on it after I save it. Please help. I also tried to put a video on there and a table and neither will do right. What's going on?
