Custom advertisement request?
Hello, I'm aware that Wetpaint does not allow for one to host custom AdSense advertisements, mainly due to the advertisement area being uneditable. However, is there a possibility for one to request a dedicated ad-block, located in a similar location to the already visible AdSense ad?
I am interested in hosting a custom advertisement, which would not affect the visibility of the already placed AdSense code.
My advertisement code, which allows for users to quickly and easily purchase their own advertisements directly from within the widget, would not limit or void the already available AdSense advertisements.
If I were to give a Wetpaint developer my advertisement code/widget, is there a possibility that the developer could integrate it into my Wetpaint website?
Thank you for reading, and I know the answer will most likely be a solid and firm "no". However, I thought it was worth a shot.

Facebook like chat feature
I was thinking how neat and cool and efficient it would be to have a chat feature like facebook! Where one would login to their wetpaint site and on the side or down below, somewhere, could be a drop down list or something and when u click it it shows all members of the site who are logged on. U cold click on a friend and send the person a instant message!!! Please is this possible ?

A problem with the system.
Ok so as you all know people are having trouble getting on with the girls ad. Please help. I mean ive read the threads about adplus but i dont have firefox all i have is internet explorer. Also on internet explorer it has the girl ad in the back round of wetpaint. For me its only happening on wetpaint. Sorry for the complant but its starting to get on my last nerves. Someone please reply with good news.

Ads on Wetpaint Pages
I have noticed that some ads have popped up on my site that I personally would deem as offensive/inapproite. Since I realize that Wetpaint needs to make a profit somehow and ads are the logical choie, I think that wetpaint should give you the option, but not the requierment, of choosing which ads pop up onto your wetpaint website.
I look forward to the reply of a Wetpaint Moderator/administrator about the ads that pop up on our websites.

We recently acuired a custom URL for our site (www.bchurch.wetpaint.com) to load on www.thebchurch.org. However, the ads have not disappeared on our site. Any help?

Increase number of attachments for educators
Hi, I am paying the premium for no ads, which I gather entitles me to more than 40 attachments, but I don't see how to do that. Can anyone help me with this?

Wet Paint for Educators
I am a high school teacher and think a watered down premium service (since we cant be responsible for ads) for education would be fantastic!!! If this already exists, I am sorry Im being dumb and missed it!

I now have ads on my site?
A while ago, my site (iliadtrans.wetpaint.com) was ridden of ads because it is an education site. now, it has them. Why, and can they come off again?

Drag and drop editing of site structure
When developing a site and creating lots of new pages that need rearranging in the structure - its currently so long-winded to have to go through all the current steps of 'more tools', 'move page', 'set page location' and 'set page order'. It would be so much easier, faster and better to be able to do it through a visual drag and drop. Any chance?

Ignore option
There's an friends option, but what would be great is an option to ignore people rather then friend them.
When you put them on ignore you no longer see there post.
is this something that you guys might work on at some point?

$20 for no ads - not many takes - $5 no ads - lots of takers
Wetpaint
Have you considered lowering the price of ad-free to attract more people to it? I would pay $5 in a second to have an ad-free site, but $20 is a bit high for my taste. I'm sure there are others who feel that way and just wonder if you did the research. Would dropping the fee by 75% get you 75% more people going ad free...if not more?
Also, have you discussed varying levels of ad free? $20 gets no ads, but $10 gets you no flash and only on one side or something like that?

NO MORE ADS!!
Wetpaint has turned into one huge advertisement! I can't even see my wiki page for all the ads...they are professionally done, and are too distracting.
I am a teacher and use this as a class page...since I don't make any money from this and there's no budget for me to spend $20 a month indefinitely to keep ads off, I have no choice but to move to pbworks.
PLEASE reconsider reinstating the ad-free education wiki component!

Okay, here are a few things about ads summed up into one thread.
There has been much complaining about Wetpaint removing the ad-free education program. Why did they remove it? They were running out of money. http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Ad+Free+Education+Sites

A few staff members of Wetpaint, including the popular Jason_Wetpaint were laid off. Very sad ;(
Now, header ads are above the pages in a new spot. It looks more like they weren't just put there.
Many are asking, "What do the header ads have to do with the content of my site?" Nothing. They have nothing to do with the conent of your site.
Why, you ask? Header ads simply pay a lot, and there are not enough related-to-your-site header ads. Text ads, are normally related to your site. For example, I have a bunch of articles and discussions about the Swine Flu. A lot of ads are about Swine Flu.
This is common for header ads to be unlike the content of the site. Look at many sites you go to. YouTube.com, IGN.com, popular online game sites, and even World of Warcraft.
