Member Profile Template. <<
I was editting the new user template on a site which I am using as a RP site.
Oh well, I accidentaly erased all my work and then saved it.
Now when I want to edit it, it won't let me do that. The whole 'edit space' is now a thin line and I can't type annything in it! :(

Huge Problem...
I was editing the new user template on a site which I am trying to get set up before I open it. Anyways, I saved it, and I have no idea what happened, but on my profile I noticed that the part where it says "Hello, my name is [YOUR NAME]" Is not on the actual profile part. What I mean is, I can't edit it, I can't remove it! I tried removing it on the actual "New User Template" thing, but when I click "Easy Edit," I still can't edit or remove those words! They are like permanently on the profile!!
Here is my site's link. I have no idea what to do and I don't know if any of that made any sense. I'm not sure how well I explained it.

And here is the link to my actual profile, so you can see that it is still there, it won't go away, I don't even think it is on the profile part anymore...it's like it was moved off the editable part and I can't fix it.

Has this sort of thing ever happened before? How do I fix it? Is there a way to fix it?

I know that this doesn't have to do with profiles, but my homepage will only allow us to edit half of it. The other half cannot EVER be editted. What's Up?!?!?!?

okay,
my profile is able to be edited and all fine except for one part. something i added a long time ago to my profile seems to have morphed out of the editable section and into the dark grey section that is not able to be edited right under the editable section. I wish to get it out, but i do not know how. is there a way i can do this?

l can't add to pages!!!
somehow, l can't add to pages!!! the EasyEdit button is gone! did my coumpter turn the butten off? did wetpaint change it so l have to do it another way? please tell me how ASAP!!!!!

EEEKKK!Help!
I press easy edit,it does edit!But,when i press save it all goes around as if in paragraph after name.When ever i try to just type in the text where i want, all it does is say, "allow this to past on page"I HATE THAT!HELP!!!!!

That didn`t tell me how to get it on my profile though. I am the person who started the website and That means I am above and adminastrater, but even if I press save it still isn`t on my profile,

Member Profile Template
I believe I read that that Member Profile Template is locked by WetPaint Central, is this correct? I don't find the questions in keeping with the users of the private wiki we are developing for a community of organization users. Is there any way around this beyond ignoring this page, which is a shame because we would like to share some common knowledge and information about ourselves. These questions just seem rather inappropriate given the context of our discussions. Would someone offer suggestions or advice please? thank you, sandi

Templates for students
Hello. i like the templates, however I don't really want kids to write about themselves per se, but rather I want them to share their understanding of the content we are learning. These templates could be used in the beginning of the year as we get to know each other. Later on, it is not that I don't want to read about the students life, but I am really more concerned about whether my students are able to share what they know about specific content information. I think the purpose for writing on an educational wiki should not be about themselves, but the work they are learning and engaged in. This takes all the subjectivity out of the project and allows students to focus on what we want them to know instead of themselves.
This is just the beginning for me of creating wikis in the classroom and so I may not be as knowledgeable as others on the topic.
Please share your thinking!!!
