I would like to help a friend...
I recently joined a friend in its wiki on books and I would like to help him to promote its wiki but... I've read your pages about this topic, he has followed more or less your advices but today, we are only 40 members, he needs help there and , to help him, I search blogs or forums on lovers of books to promote the wiki there. Can you help me in giving us a few tracks? I thank you a lot, I don't know how to do otherwise...

My site is not appearing on search engines?
I have had my site, http://dungeonsanddragonsbeyador.wetpaint.com/ , up for about 1-2 months now and it still has not appeared on any search engines. I know web crawlers can be slow, but this slow. Also I advertised on another site, the mythical creatures wiki, and it shows them when I search for my site (using an exact keyword and narrowing it down greatly), but not my own site. I was hacked not too long ago, but this was happening before then also and me and my moderators have fixed essentially everything they blocked so if anyone has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

I DONT SEE THE BUTTON
i went to the area, but i couldnt see the button for promoting, all I saw was MyProfile, Inbox, Settings, and Invite. ALSO, IM THE CREATOR OF THE SITES!

if you go to wetpaint.com
look at the featured wikis
many people probably visit those wikis alot (i would think)
so just go to those wikis and leave a thread saying come to
"your wiki" and hopefully more people would join you wiki :D
