Invitations are not being sent
I am moderator of an invite required site. When I send out an invite, i do not get the CAPTCHA box appear (which I think is OK for moderator level users?) however no email is received. I ahve triend quite a few addresses, most without firewalls, and they are not ending up in spam/junk folders.
what is strange is taht i have sent out some previously which worked OK - this may have been when at "writer" status before moderator. Doesn;t look like I'm the first to be having trouble with invites either....

Invite not working
I seem to be part of a growing number of users who find that Invite isn't working. I changed the permission on the site to Public so Invite would show as an option. I have sent invitations out to several, including myself, and none have been received! What is being done by WebPaint to correct this error???

No "Invite" link in nav bar
I don't have the "Invite" link in my nav bar -- and I was the one that created the wiki. I've sent invites before but it's been over a year. What am I doing wrong?

Made Site Public but Invites Not Working
OK so I changed my status to public & sent invites to 3 people, one of them my virtual team member so I could see the invite, respond & understand how it all works. It's been several hours, I've checked all spam folders and nothing?

Cannot Add New Members
As of Feb 26th, 2010, the INVITE function is still not working. It does send out the invitation e-mail, but when new users click the ACCEPT INVITATION button they are brought to a page that say, "Contact the person who referred you to the site and request an invitation." So as an administrator I've been unable to add any new users to my page for several months now. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do please contact me at the e-mail below. Thanks.

Site owner needs to Access email addresses of members invited??
I originally created my site as a private site. Since Wetpaint is no longer supporting private invites, I need to access my old "invites" list and get the email addresses of each member so that I can invite them to a new site. I used to be able to do this and now with the private/public changes I can't find where to go to get the emails I originally used to invite members?? Anyone have clues for this?
Hate to leave wetpaint, but can't make my site public to do invites. Lots of teachers will need to leave.

Administration
Current admin is hard work, ok for individual, but for "group sites" not easy. It would be great to have better access to user invites, bulk invites, reporting on invite status (eg. invite made, received). Additionally, seeing members (from an admin perspective) listed by invite email address and user name they've created. The ability easy follow up with invites (eg. tick invitees to re-invite).

Reviewing Invites
Does anyone know where the link for viewing the status of new invites went? It is no longer under Members, and the Invite tab now opens a dialogue box, which also does not have this option, instead of a page, which used to.

Wetpaint
I think there should be a feature that you can invite another person that already has an acount on wetpaint without knowing their E-Mail or sending a comment asking them.

I need to restrict invites to administrators!
I have private sites and need to control who gets invited as new members - Is there some way I can limit the capability of inviting new members to administrators? If not, could you please add that capability? Thanks!

Invite Friends
Note: The invite feature is not available if your site is set to the private permissions setting. One easy way to begin growing your site is to invite friends to visit and help you. Think of all the friends and family you have that might find
