Invite not working
I seem to be part of a growing number of users who find that Invite isn't working. I changed the permission on the site to Public so Invite would show as an option. I have sent invitations out to several, including myself, and none have been received! What is being done by WebPaint to correct this error???

No "Invite" link in nav bar
I don't have the "Invite" link in my nav bar -- and I was the one that created the wiki. I've sent invites before but it's been over a year. What am I doing wrong?

Made Site Public but Invites Not Working
OK so I changed my status to public & sent invites to 3 people, one of them my virtual team member so I could see the invite, respond & understand how it all works. It's been several hours, I've checked all spam folders and nothing?

Invitations, private sites, and current policy
Hello! I am a member of several private wetpaint pages. It was my understanding that invitations were disabled, but now they are enabled again. I was able to successfuly send invitations to one site, but the another site will send invitations BUT when the user clicks on it, the page doesn't take them to the registration process. They accept the inviation, but they still cannot get in. I don't understand why. Does anyone know?
The site used to tell us who we invited and when they accepted the invitation. It is my understanding that this feature was also disabled. Will it be coming back?
What is the policy, as of May 2010, for private sites? Can you or can you not send (working) invitations to a private site? If so, how do we get help for this ongoing issue of "broken" invitations? And if not, what is the work around? Is there anything to do other than open the site and allow those members to join?

Cannot Add New Members
As of Feb 26th, 2010, the INVITE function is still not working. It does send out the invitation e-mail, but when new users click the ACCEPT INVITATION button they are brought to a page that say, "Contact the person who referred you to the site and request an invitation." So as an administrator I've been unable to add any new users to my page for several months now. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do please contact me at the e-mail below. Thanks.

Invite no working
I have tried importing addresses from yahoo to invite friends but it says please wait for hours and never completes. Any ideas?

One Invitation Not Working
One person who has a WetPaint acct & is on other wikis can't gain access to my most current wiki, RCWP TIC-Wik. Any idea what the problrm might be?

Is there a way to turn off the "Invite Others" feature?
When joining, there's a screen that asks if you want to invite others to join. Is it possible to turn this off?

Batch Invitations for Hundreds
I would like to invite hundreds of people at a time to join my site, based on their registration in a class that I'm offering. How can I do this without having to type in each email address individually? Can I import an excel spreadsheet for this purpose?

Invitations not being sent
This morning I have completed several invitations which say they are going to be sent out in the next ten minutes but arn't. I've added new invitations since and they are just stacking up. I have not had this happen before (was fine yesterday).

Help! One of my invitees is not getting my wiki invitation
This person has two email addresses wtih sbcglobal.net and has not received the invitation to my private wiki at either address, despite repeated tries. It appears that there is no other way for that person to get into the site...
All my other invitees with address at yahoo, aol, gmail, etc. have had no trouble getting their invitations and signing up. Can someone help?

1. What: My site doesn't send the email invitations.

3. How: When I send the invitation the user never receive it

What were you doing right before the problem?
Adding new pages and editing
Describe what you saw when the problem happened.
That I sent two ivitations but in the invite sections appears zero invitations.
Describe any error messages you received.
None only zero invitations.
What were you expecting to happen?
That the site would send email invitations to future memebers

Why are my invitations not being sent?
I have created my new wiki and want to invite people. I have sent out the invitations but no one has received them. I even sent one to myself and a friend who has a registered account with wetpaint. Neither of us received them. Am I doing something wrong? The site tells me they have been successfully sent.

invitations in limbo
I have invited several people to the wiki who do not appear yet as members, but I also am not able to click "invite again" on the "see who you've already invited" page. In some cases, these people attempted to register for wetpaint but found their computer permissions at work not set to allow it. When that was corrected, they discovered that their user name & emails were "already taken" [presumably by themselves the first time around.] how can this be corrected?
