Where is my invite button?
Why can't I invite people to my private site anymore? I'm not allowed to have it public, as it's a game related site and people are only supposed to be able to use it if they ask me in-game...

Private Sites aren't Private
If I have to make a site public to invite people, that defeats the intent to be a private site. Why can't I simply add the people to the site from inside?

Invite others section??
Neither of these two options appear when I try to "invite" The box looks the same as your example about but there's no CAPTCHA that appears or the specify what these users can do section...
Specify what the user(s) can do on the site in the "These users can:" section Fill in the CAPTCHA so we know you are a real live human and not an evil spam computer.

Invitees can't join wiki
I sent an invitation to 4 people to join my wiki (thoughtform.wetpaint.com). All 4 of them said that they were unable to join. As I looked searched through the Help and Discussion Forums, I found a lot of other people complaining about this problem over the years, but I had trouble finding what the solution was. So what happens is that they get an email saying they were invited, as expected. But when they click on the "Accept Invitation" link, it takes them to the Sign In screen of the wiki, where the only option is to Sign In... there is no option to "join", which is what I would expect to see, since they were invited and need to join first. All 4 of them have wetpaint accounts, and have tried logging out, quitting the browser, then accepting the invitation, and that doesn't work. I've resent the invitation to one of them, and that didn't work either. What is going on, and how can I get these users in to the wiki? I must say, I really hate this way of getting members to join. It would be so much easier if they could go to the site and request to get in, and I just say yes or no. I'm also surprised to see that this problem has been happening for years, but that I couldn't find a fix in the forums. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but I don't have time to be scouring the wiki for the answer. I'm sorry about that. Any help that anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way...
To make a picture a background? And like type over it? I don't think this feature is available on Wetpaint, but I figured asking never hurt.

I created another new website and then discovered I could no longer have a free educational website without ads. Now I want to cancel my new wiki. How do I do that without cancelling my other two wikis? LK

Invitation to private wiki not allowing invitees to participate
Greetings Everyone
I have a private wiki for my class which I created in the spring and made some modifications a couple of weeks ago. I have not sent invitations to my new set of students and when they try to accept the invitation it takes them to a member sign in page. I told all of my students to create accounts and I tried sending them the another invitation in hopes that they would click on the invitation and then sign in with their accounts. However, this did not work as well.
I need to know how to sent invites to my students for a private wiki and the actual invitation work.
I look forward to anyone's reply!
TLSB

Um.... O.O
I have safari and it has restricted me from logging in onto wetpaint. I am an administrator on http://warriorcatsheaven.wetpaint.com and I can't log on because of the new log in system. Firefox doesn't work on my computer either. Does that mean I can't be on the site anymore?

Changes to invite process?
I just invited new members and noted a change in the process... the popup window no longer looks like the one on this page... I did not have the opportunity to set their status as writer vs. moderator (I'm site administrator), and I no longer have the option to view the status of invitations (were they sent, were they accepted, etc.). What has happened? I really valued these features.

I started a wiki and am now locked out
I started a wiki today. It is for a nonprofit group to privately organize an event. I didn't quite understand the way it would work, and quickly realized that I should have given myself an identifiable username. I discovered that our usernames can't be changed, so I changed the e-mail address in the first username and invited myself to join, planning to set up another username (which I have). The invitation arrived, but I can't get in. All it says is that the wiki is a private site and to contact the person who referred me to get an invitiation - that is what happens when I respond to the invitation. So I signed in to wetpaint again with the original username, and can't get with that one either. That is 100% of members locked out. I need this wiki to be happening before Saturday. What can I do?

Is he a member or not?
Hi, I recently sent an invitation for a friend of mine (moderator status), and I think he accepted, because he told me he tried to enter a discussion (however it only said "not found"). When I check the member list though, I don't find him. Is this why he's getting "not found"? Why is he not in the list?
Any help is appreciated :)

Invite students to educational wiki
I am setting up private wikis for my students. Most of my students do not have email. I would like to set up a fake email for the use of this wiki only. The problem is that I cannot send invitations and get replies. I am desperate to get this going because we have a lot of work that we want to do in the wiki. Please give me suggestions for getting my student signed up without email.
