import wikispaces export into wetpaint?
Hi! I'd like to import a few wikispace exports into wetpaint and get a sense of the look & feel of my existing wiki. can I do this?
this would also make it very easy to share an existing wikispace with a tech committee of one of the schools that is interested in making the transition.

Bulk add of members
I use my site with my students and want to know if there is a way to add students in bulk instead of having them join individually.
Removing/banning them at the end of the year in bulk would be nice too.

Wetpaint Ad Content
I teach at a high school that has a population of 2,000 students. We are exploring using Wetpaint as the vehicle for each of our students to create an online portfolio. My concern is that the student portfolios will include advertising. Does Wetpaint have any specific standards for the advertising that they allow in their site? If so, what are those standards? I do not want to be accused of exposing students to inappropriate content in a site which our school is recommending that they use.

I created another new website and then discovered I could no longer have a free educational website without ads. Now I want to cancel my new wiki. How do I do that without cancelling my other two wikis? LK

Invited Guests Join & Are Told They Need To Be Invited
Hi
I am inviting my students to join and they fill out the user name and password. They then are sent to a splash page that says the site is private and that they need to contact the person who recommended them and ask to be invited!
Please help ASAP as I have 76 students freaking out on me!

videos not working
I am having some problems... I went to check up on the site this evening and my videos that are hosted on teachertube are not working. It seems you only accept video uploads from certain sites. This would be okay but the sites such as Youtube are blocked in schools. The only reason I use teachertube is for this reason.
I am well and truly stumped if students can’t see my videos.
Can you give me any help with this as my website looks a mess at present,

Education removal of ads
I just read that this had be discontinued a few weeks ago.
However, my application for synecdoche.wetpaint was lodged in July and since then I was merely told twice that there was an issue that was being fixed.
I know you have had large volumes of people applying for this, but when one is educationally sound - my application and membership is through an .edu dept email - and dates BEFORE this option was removed I think must be covered. This was the reason why we set up with wetpaint initially.

Chat Widget?
I noticed that you can chat using feeds on a website, but u gotta keep refreshing to view new posts, i don't like that, the chat widgets are perfect! however..... to use the meebo one you have to be signed into meebo and cannot chat with ur site mates using it unless your not on ur site, but ur on meebo, the other chat widget works the same way, is there a chat widget I can use that will not require being signed into a different site, one that is instant to use and does not require refreshing?

Inviting someone to a private wiki who already has a Wetpaint account
I run several wikis, some of them private and some of them nonprivate. I would like to give access to one of the private ones to a member of one of the nonprivate ones. Let's call the user in this case "Jane." Jane is a user on tmswiki.wetpaint.com and wants access to one of my private wikis. When I go to the private wiki, click on invite, input her email and finish sending the email, she reports that when she clicks on the link in the invite, it lists her as already logged in in her username (in the upper right hand corner of the screen), but DOESN'T allow her to join the private wiki. Of note is the fact that she may have given me a different email address for the private wiki than the one that she used for her account at the nonprivate wiki.
Since I will be having to do this again in the future, I'd like to know how to do this two different ways. First, if Jane wants to start a new account on the private wiki, my impression is that she can just log out of her old Wetpaint account before clicking on the link in the invitation. Then, through the magic of the invite, the wiki will allow her to make a completely different account. The second approach that I'd like to better understand (and the one that I think she is actually interested in) is to give her a way to sign up to the private wiki using THE SAME account that she is using on the nonprivate wiki. How do I do that?

Inviting new members
I had students sign up last year using whatever login they wanted. This year my school has informed me that all students must have logins with their last name in it. I thought I could just ban all the students and send new invites and have them redo their login/profile. This did not work. Once I banned them they couldn't rejoin even with a new login. They are being told that another user has their email. Any ideas how we get around this? thanks

How do you add a note to your picture once you have already inserted the picture? This is the part that can tell where the picture is taken. When the mouse goes over the picture - it shows the words?
