Custom URL was taken over
I have a wetpaint wiki site: anitawiki,wetpaint.com . I am the creator/administrator.
I had a custom URL www.anitablakewiki.com It had been set-up by Alex Berg. This has been in place for many years.
I recently discovered that this registry expired and has been taken over and now after many years of making this a valuable go-to site, getting this URL back is not going top happen - premium charge of close to $9000.00 at GoDaddy.
My problem is that I cannot seem to get to my site with its original wetpaint address to change the settings in regaards to the custom URL. I keep getting shunted to the custom URL when I enter it in the address bar? How can I get to my site to chnage this and send out a communication to all my members.
I am looking into getting a replacement URL but it looks like this is a premium service now, I want to know if I change the current associated URL if I will fall under the old or new pricing.

Hello, I think of change the address URL of my wiki (www.nameofdomain.com instead of www.namedomain.wetpaint.com), I took a look in the different sites presented here and I saw that it isn't very costly. However, I don't understand very well how it works. I would like only change my address URL and my money is in Euros. Do you know if my credit card will work to pay for a custom URL in dollars? Can I purchase a name of domain already used but available again (there are a lot of names of domain who are available on the net because their former owners have abandoned them) For the promotion of my wiki, is it well to take a name of domain pre-existing or should I create my own name of domain? Your advices are very precious here, I don't speak English very well and sometimes, I don't understand what is explained. Thank you. Keziah. ;)

remove custom URL
I cancelled the domain names cafecomplexity.org and cafecomplexity.com, however, I canNOT access my wiki with the custom url NOR the wetpaint subdomain url. Help, please. Thanks.
Note: Another user had a similar issue (see http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/thread/4582972/Need+help+deactivating+custom+URL). The response was to contact Jeremy, but Jeremy's page specifically states "First off - please don't send me a message." (http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/account/Jeremy_Wetpaint)

DNS request
Hi,
I would like to change my URL with a provider which is not recomended by wetpaint (due to requirements of .sk domain, which any of the recommended providers do not offer). However, my provider is asking me to get the DNS from wetpaint and not the other way around, as it is written in this guide.
Thefere, please, could you tell me how can I get the DNS for my webpage from wetpaint?
