Moderator?
"Essentially you just need to ask a staff member if you can. Most people don't just promote people to moderators, though, so you might have to be an active, helpful member of the site before they'll promote you." http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Site+Moderating+Guide
If you please read that it will tell how to can you be a promote moderator

"Forum Moderation"
It would appear, not only is Wetpaint lacking in software "structure" but lacking in forums moderations.. From time to time I have noticed words and terms which I would consider to be objectionable.. and offensive.. yet they remain on the home or main page viewable to all..
One thing many users do not realize when they set out to create their own pages or networks.. all of these newly created networks must be maintained at or above a 24/7 atmosphere.. meaning you must moderate the site at all time.. Because people are not willing to stay within the said guide lines for posting message, text and images.. Here is the deal.. because I made this statement.. This post will Prob be removed way before the "other" more objectionable post messages would.. simply because I have shed some light on the issue and Wetpaint and its mods do not wish to attract attention to the issue..So consider yourself fortunate to have read this when it was originally posted.. "Rethink your software, and now your forums" Wetpaint..

Help!
Only an Administrator can change the status of a member to a moderator. You can only become an Administrator if another Administrator changes your status.

Mods Come here!
"Can you talk to a member called Dapplepool of wetpaint about IP banning kitclanmosskit. They can't, because my mom will be super mad, and it's her computer, and if her comp gets IP banned like last time, she can't access facebook, yahoo, or anything else about that..." Individual problems on a site must be dealt with by the moderators, admins or creators of that site. Same as the moderators and above here at Wetpaint Central. We can give you directions and advice for your problem. We do not play policemen or judges. Here are links that may assist the moderators at your site in assisting you with the problem at hand. Banning http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Banning+Users Abuse and Policies http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Abuse+and+Policies Harassment and Cyber Bullying http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Harassment+and+Cyberbullying Site moderating guide http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Site+Moderating+Guide
I will be locking this thread.

how do i check users acc lik pass and info
Try reading http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Site+Moderating+Guide
If that doesn't answer your questions, click the link to "Sitemap" at the foot of every Wetpaint page regardless of the content on it, and then go to the relevant section.

Hi.
On my site (mystriesofmagic.wetpaint.com), I had a troublesome moderator who deleted three important threads and left. How can I restore these threads?
