Keyword tags
Okay, I'm probably being naive, but why do you put keyword tags on a page?

keyword tags
I'm proud to have a wetpaint site, but it disturbs me a lot when I start up the site and see at the startpage a big block with all my keyword tags, latest page update, more info and bookmarks. Good to have these items, but why not the possibility to hide this information. It's better for the layout of the startpage

Keyword Tags
Shouldn't you have some keyword tags or something on here? Just wondering. It would help us get around better on this wiki with 'Related Content.' Just a suggestion! Thanks! =D

Keywords
The American Library Association will agree with you wholeheartedly with the use of keywords. Among librarians, we call it "cataloging". Excellent advice!

Keyword Tag Groups
I'm sure there used to be a facility whereby images could be organised into keyword tag groups...anyone know what happened to them?

Tag and keyword functions not working
I just started my wiki today at shapeoftime.wetpaint.com The search function doesn't seem to be working. After I search for tags the results page shows no matching pages, threads etc.
In the box to the left some of my tags are shown in the "browse by keyword" section...if i click on these tag links they work fine... But even in this case not all of my tags have made it to this box
So two problems: All tags are unsearchable and some tags aren't making it to the tags list.
I'm on firefox with the latest Mac OS and updates

Keyword Search Tag Cloud
It would be really useful and interesting to have the keyword search list or tag cloud available in the navigation column on the right side of my pages. This would be a wonderful feature or option for any wiki. Any chance of this happening?

Keyword Tags + Custom template
When you add a new page, if you add some keyword tags, and then you select a custom template, the keywords will disappear, and you have to add them again. This seems happens in both firefox and Internet explorer 7.
Its much easier to do them when you are adding a new page as you can just put commas in between the keywords

Popular Keyword Tags?
The Keyword Tag cloud was removed and replaced with the Top Contributors cloud with yesterday's release. We are planning on re-adding the keyword tag cloud onto the Search results page with the next release. The new contributor cloud increases awareness of who is in the community and who is the most active on the site.

Tags
At the bottom of every page there is a link to edit keyword tags for that page. Select that on your homepage and add the tags you want. Make ample use of tags throughout your wikl. It will allow information to be found quickly via a search.

Keyword tags disappearing when adding page.
When you add a new page, if you add some keyword tags, and then you select a custom template, the keywords will disappear, and you have to type them again. Using Internet explorer 7.

Tag Cloud / Browse by Keyword display hangs with "Loading..."
Hi Phil et al --
Is there a problem with the tag indexing and tag cloud display at the moment? It seemed to die on Thursday 7/9/09 this week on my Wiki ( edm641.wetpaint.com ) and this one (Central) too. (I just get "Loading..." notification only). Is it just me? Thanks for all you guys do! Ian Gibson

Please Help Save the "Popular Keyword Tags" Feature!
1. The latest release of wetpaint "dropped" (like a bomb I must say) this critical feature as 0f 06/20/07
2. Many existing wetpaint sites use the standard navigation menu to refer to content types (articles, photos, videos, documents, links) then use the Popular Keyword Tags to cross reference the content types by subject keywords to provide a rich set of navigational "clues" for new users of a site. (i.e. like a card catalog in a multimedia Library) 3. Removing the "Popular Keyword Tags" is analogous to having your Card Catalog removed by the Librarian from your websites! Bummer indeed! 4. Wetpaint Central suggests they will remedy this blunder by displaying these Tags AFTER you search for something in the Search box. This is analogous to now asking you, the site user, to first ask the Librarian to see the Card Catalog in the back room to find content. How absurd. Please help me in getting this feature back. Post your comments to this Forum before it is too late. Thank you.
