  • I know no more Wetpaint Injected, but I need it really bad. Hey there, it's an-de, edwardandbellafan, andrew_editor.

I know Wetpaint Injected is not used anymore, however I wish it was, I could really use It on my site! I was wondering if the amazing Wetpaint community knows if there is a workaround to this, possibly iframe a page or if there are any other services like this.

Jeremy, I would love it if I could be given a key and the code snippet, but I totally understand if it requires too many resources or if it is just not accessible anymore, although I would love to have one!

    Andrew

  • How do you put your site on the Internet? If you are a creator or an admin. on a site, use the 'Promote' link on you top right corner to Edit Search terms. Suppose you have a site about the American Government, you may add terms such as 'Democracy'. That way, when somebody types in that word on a search engine, your site will be listed. This helps people who are interested in the same thing as you find your site quickly. It also helps if your site has active members, and like edwardandbellafan said, unique-ness.

  • Does anyone know of any good sites for wiki reviews? Well, there is really no official wiki that reviews other wikis. However, the advertising wiki, Wetpaint Classified Ads, does have a section where the WCA Crew reviews the wikis and gives them a score. This is not fully put out yet, but the WCA Crew and Writers are working on it. For more information about the rating program, contact edwardandbellafan.

  • helpe me Wetpaint does not offer other languages but you can use as edwardandbellafan said Google translation. Google and Babblefish are mechanical text translators. They leave a lot to be desired as far as grammer, sentence structure and word usage. But they are getting better. Google offers entire site translations. And works with wetpaint. The only drawback is the translated site is for viewing and navigating only. For editing you have to use the original wiki site.

Here is a link that you can put onto your site which wil translate your entire site into Arabi.

    http://translate.google.com/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww-hider.wetpaint.com&sl=en&tl=ar&history_state0=

  • Deleting threads on profile page on Wetpaint Central
"You know I don't think many peole like yu, no one replis to your threads"
edwardandbellafan, warned for flaming. That was really not nice. CryingDove, IMO, is one of the best Wetpaint users around.

This is definitely a feature I would like to see. It's your profile and you should be able to change anything.

  • Website running unusually slow..
"I don't know who the anoymous poster is who commented on the NCIS sites running slow, but they are correct. The NCIS one, the Mark Harmon one and the NCIS: Los Angeles one are all running slow."
I just visited both, and seem normal speed. I have also tried on one of my own sites i'm apart of, and it runs just fine. Did you try the part in a few posts above and tried clearing your Browser Cache?

Also, like edwardandbellafan said, you may have too much stuff on your computer.

  • Please give us feedback on our Facebook Connect BETA!
"My school district (USD259) promotes Wetpaint but blocks Facebook so ever since the button began appearing I haven't been able to get on my Wetpaint site from school. I've tried using computers at other schools in the district to see if it was just my computer but it appears to be a district-wide issue. Is there a way to make the Facebook button removable?"
There are sites that you can go to that will unblock your requested site, but, I do not recommend it, you can get into trouble!
