I haven't tried this yet on my own home page - I hope it works. I agree with you that AT MINIMUM, an obvious link to Keywords should appear in the Navigation area.

Search and Browse by keywords Issues
First off, I see there's some confusion about what's meant by "search." Let me see if I can clarify things.
There are multiple levels of search functionality on Wetpaint:
1. Some of the respondents here seem to think you're talking about the "SEO keywords" that we support on all wikis (even on private wikis -- although they don't do any good there, so we suppress the interface for them). These keywords are included in every page our servers send from your wiki, and they're what you'd use to try to improve your Google search ranking.
2. There is also a cross-wiki search feature that previously appeared here on WPC and also on the main Wetpaint site (http://www.wetpaint.com/). This feature is currently disabled while we fix some severe usability issues that were affecting our partners.
3. Any page, photo, or video, and most threads, on any Wetpaint wiki, can have one or more "keyword" tags added. These keywords allow you to quickly link different pieces of content without relying on the content itself. The "tag cloud" is an example of these keywords.
