  • Date order Most forums are like that to tell you what the thread is about. For example, this thread, I wouldn't want to read stickmeninc's thread first as I wouldn't have a clue what he is talking about. You can press "End" on your keyboard to get to the bottom quickly.

  • Image Format Problem GeneralGuy, it appears that you and Stickmeninc are BOTH correct.

Small PNG images are stored as PNGs. Larger PNG images appear to be converted internally to JPEG before saving. I'm not sure where the line is between "small" and "larger," but your sprite sheet definitely seems to fall on the "larger" side of it.

  • Replying to Messages Thanks very much, Stickmeninc. I wish, though, that another solution could be found for those of us who then face other inconveniences when we change the screen resolution. Still, you gave a solution!

  • More things that would help wetpaint...
"She means when you go to put a photo on a page and you get the "Get from the Photo Gallery" option. That should be changed to the next 120 photos instead of it being the 20 photos."
    Yep. Thanks Stickmeninc

  • Formatting lost when pasting in Internet Explorer 7 Thanks Stickmeninc!

If I understand it right, it's Internet Explorer's interpretation of the empty line that's causing this.

Using spacer GIFs seems to be too bothersome since some of my friends will contribute many dozens of pages with lots of paragraph marks. I think I rather get my friends' administrator to install Firefox.

Anybody else has an idea on how else to fix this?

    All help is appreciated.

"There's a countdown widget you can download from: http://www.yourminis.com/minis/yourminis/rkcla22/mini:HIGHLIFE2008 which works on Wetpaint. Click the link to "Gallery" at the top of the page to see all the others. They all work on Wetpaint. "
Thanks for that. I've been looking for a good count down widget.
Stickmeninc: Sorry, but I can't help you. I'm not so smart when it comes to widgets :)

  • Able To Have A "Signature" In forum Threads Sigs would be great, especially if you could have EasyEdit features in them. One thing we should think about is limits, would people create massively long signatures or figure out new ways to make them even longer. Plus, if everyone had their signatures, no one would listen to my sig and stickmeninc's.

  • Text Boxes in Easy Edit Webpages Jason and other Wetpaint developers: I'm experiencing the same problem with my wikis. On some of the pages I created the text via cut and paste from other programs as Stickmeninc described. But on most of them I created the pages from directly typing into the Easy Edit screen.

FYI - I'm using IE and the site I'm trying to update today is >>> http://artshares.wetpaint.com

What makes it particularly difficult is that when we are in the editing screen, the items in the (now forced) table can't be seen on the screen. Note I did not initially place this text inside individual table cell boxes. Since the last upgrade, now they are... that's what I mean by "forced". Somehow the new code is forcing our text into table boxes, we wiki owners never intended them to be in.

I have found a temporary work around with the viewability long enough to make the text edits I want. But it's extremely glitchy. Sometimes rendering my screen completely blank. Basically what I'm doing is simply clicking on "Edit Table" then setting the borders so I can see them. What happens is the text becomes viewable (then I can make changes)... but the border lines don't actually show??? How strange is that?

It works. But like I said - it's not a true fix. It's mostly just very difficult to update my pages now. After 30 minutes of annoying glitches on one table cell alone, I've finally given up for the day.

Keep us informed of your progress on this fix please. Thank you!
