Attention Wetpaint Wiki Creators
I need your opinion on whether this site is a good idea or not. The site is a Blog for "creators" of wiki sites only. The site is for sharing what goes on in your life as a Wetpaint Wiki Site Creator. It is open to discussions of formats, designs, tips, wish lists, and many other topics. It is a community for all Creators to share or help with information of managing your wiki. I would appreciate feedback on this idea. Yeah or Nay.

Invites and Private Sites - not working
"Just ran into this issue today and also wasted over an hour trying to get a user signed in. . . .
Well, from our end of things we're now starting to discuss moving to a different hosting site, despite how much we like WetPaint." bonarioj - I would appreciate an email from you with alternative hosting sites. This is a huge problem for us too.
I have created several private sites and my two most active private sites (which are starting to get momentum) are, as of today, expressing that we need to move sites. None of my administrators want to open up the site to public, waiting for someone to log in, while the site has material on it sensitive to the group. We are all professionals, and no one is sitting around monitoring whether the list of invitees is complete. The posted work-around is fine for a few people and few invites. Opening up sensitive material to the Public is a much more significant issue.
It took months for me to get the third group to trust that the Private functionality was truly private. Any public exposure will lose this group immediately, and I feel obligated to inform them of such.
Also bothersome was that I just recently wasted a lot of time trying to explain the process, not having a clue that the process changed somewhat severely.
Jeremy, I don't get the comment that advertisers are concerned. I get advertising on all of my private sites when I use IE. I also think that if you lose me as a champion who promotes Wetpaint because of the private issues posted here, you will lose my word of mouth on Wetpaint Public. If this holds true with other creators that champion Wetpaint, you may be underestimating your losses; which I would think will alienate advertisers.
I don't really understand all the issues you have, but this is significant, and I respectfully ask you to re-consider the change.

OK, im not the creator of this site, but i do create a lot of sites, but this site is awesome. I mean i thought it was wierd but it was cool there is a department for clothing like hollister and aero ohh and ae! teenscool.wetpaint.com and does anyone know how to delete a site?

The Wetpaint Idex for all your Pomoting Needs
Here is a site great for creator, it is not like topcoats. We have lots of thing to help you with your wiki. We do not post pages about how to make it better(Wetpaint Crentral does that) we post pages about how your wiki looks, how good is it. We rate it out of ten, put your username, wiki title,URL, is it goodfor topcoats program, and we give what your wiki is about. We have a FAQ for the promote button for Admin and Creators.(Wetpaint Crentral does not have it). So join the Wetpaint Index and get everything you need to have lots of users on your wiki.

Hello I am a Ninndo Freak
And I currently have a great Nintendo site that is ranked 55 now. The problem is we have about 50 members and almost none of them goo on. I need your help. If you love Nintendo and Wii and such as please join my site. I have alot of histories, videos, reviews, images, and we even hav egroups called clans where you can join that and become president and talk woth other members of the clan about a common gaming Category. Flickr Badge Widget anyone?
There are multiple sources for Flickr Badge type widgets. Google has them. Yahoo has them. Individual widget creators have them, as well as the flickr site's own badges too. They have one that's html based and one that's a flash badge too. I realize the html based badge doesn't meet the criteria for the widgets here at wetpaint. But I thought I'd be able to add the flash based one. When looking at the code it appears to be in <iframe> tags.... although it's surounded by script tags. I played with it a while, and just had no luck. Was hoping to find a source with a flickr badge widget that would work in the wetpaint invironment. Here's a link to a page with several choices on it. I've created and installed these badges on various blogs and websites elsewhere though. I really like them. Was hoping to have a savvier person than me figure this one out. Would appreciate anything you could offer in this direction!
