It already is noticed by Yahoo. THe problem is that you have to compete with any other site on the web that is similar to yours. In order to improve your rankings on search engines you'll need to improve your content, page tags, etc. and increase activity on your page (maybe by advertising to other Wetpaint users?). We have a lot of tips for this at www.wetpaintcentral.com . Good luck!

They do post the top 500 it is just not on this page. If you go to the Wetpaint news page then you can get to the top 500 page. If you are number 33 then you will be able to click on a link that leads to your page. btw how do you know what your site was ranked if you don't get teh weekly digest??

cannot insert blank lines
I cannot exactly recall, but I think I've complained about this before: the relationship between the edit tool window and the displayed web page, relative to placement of blank lines (essential to paragraph delineation and to formatting in general) is a bit loose. It's quite maddening at times.
At http://bodymind.wetpaint.com/page/3.1+Disease I've been trying for 20 minutes to get a blank line inserted after the initial sentence. Cannot find how to get this done. This is nuts.
Another matter - it's sure be nice to have better communication between bug reports & change requests and your code development team. Your communication with us, especially those of us who are really involved with your software (my major site with you is ranked #37-39 by you, depending on the week), is less than it could be. For Pete's sake, why not feed our enthusiasm? Blog about your development work, or open a read only site which reports on fixes in progress or something like that. Feed the troops, guys! It's called self-promotion, and it's very much in your own interest. What do you think?

Enhancements Desired for Discussion Threads
I tried to post this once so i hope I am not spamming . I could not find my post. Wetpaint is a great site but not for optimization from links. They said to hyperlink with keyworkds linking to your site. They have a "no follow rule" which means that the links will drive traffic but not increase your rankings in the search engines.

I can't believe someone thought it was a good idea to ******* turn off the swear words. umm...it's called freedom of speech. some people have dirty mouths and some people do not. I am one of those formers. I like my curse words :D I like to write my FF's with people being "real" That means in some certain situations, curse words come out. I don't like being treated like I have someone watching over my shoulder. That's what freedom of speech is. Being able to say what you want and when you want. Do you know how many NOVELS I've read with cursing 5 TIMES as worse as I do. It makes them comical, sad, or whatever feeling when used in certain contexts. I believe censoring the threads should be able to be turned on or off depending on what the Mods see fit, but censoring peoples FF's...that's just wrong. That's like editing copyrighted info. You just DON'T do that. I wouldn't edit any of YOUR stuff because you used a curse word. That's unhuman. Like others have said, especially for the site I'm a member of, we have RATINGS for a reason. If there is ever ANY language, strong or moderate, I ALWAYS put a rating to coincide with that. ALWAYS...I really think you should turn this off, before you really PISS some people off. More than you have already I'm sure.
