Add a simple search feature for help topics
Very frustrating to try to find help about a particuialr subject without being able to do a simple search for the topic. Please add search feature.
BTW, I'm trying to find out how to get rid of the "Parents and Teachers" title on our home page. It should just be the template category, not our headline!

help
I find it ironic that most "users" that need help, aren't even users. They are mostly anonymous. Now, I know this is off-topic, but what I am proposing is that we should consider disabling the feature of anonymous posting. Wouldn't you get more money off of people creating actual accounts? This user would have to use his account if he has one to join WPC to post his problem. I would like a reply to this as I think this is a great suggestion. Walrus, I want your opinion too.

Help
"I was trying to set the homepage to Google, but I couldn't figure out how to.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Tip - Why not try "Search this Wiki" in the top-left corner of the page? It will reduce thread numbers and give you more detailed information! - Thanks for using Wetpaint! " One of the easiest things to-do would be to navigate to google and click make google my homepage (its below search box on google).

Off Topic Confusion?
I am confused. If off topic is supposed to be things not related to the site than why do you say that this is a Wiki Help related area only? If it is off topic, can't it be Off Topic Stuff? Sorry, I'm not logged in. I'm actually bloo97. LOL!

Off Topic Threads
"Threads should be about Wetpaint, but more about your site or your opinion. Very off topic threads shouldn't be added." This thread was created for clarification of the category description.
"Discussions not related to the topic of this site."
This site is about Wetpaint and Help with Wetpaint Wikis. So, this category is for topics not related to topics about Wetpaint or Wetpaint Central. And the questions that are here in this thread have yet to be clarified.
Just wondering, why some threads are locked in this category It doesn't make any sense to me.

A Future Enhancement Suggestion or Topic to Discuss
Well, talking about the Homepage Customizations, I would think it would be nice maybe to have a say in where the wiki pages bar is and where the top contributors box is. I don't want to be picky, and I know that they are in easy to find places, but I think that there should be an option like Blogspot has. (www.blogspot.com). They let you add an take away boxes which are kind of the same as what a wiki has.
I am not sure if you and your workers have discussed this already, but I think it would be most helpful. This has been discussed a few times before this comment was posted, so, well, yes. Thanks for letting me share my opinion and please post a reply or two!
Regards, Elliot www.wetwiki.co.nr or www.wetwiki.wetpaint.com

how to add topics in wetpaint home page ?
If you are signed in when you post a question, you will get an email notification when a reponse is posted. If you post a question anonymously you just have to manually check back to see if anyone has responded.
What exactly do you mean by "add topics"? We have instructions for how to add links, images, and other content to a site on the Help page at: http://wetpaintcentral.wetpaint.com/help
