If it is a photo on a page, simply EasyEdit, click on the photo, and press "Delete" on your key board.
If it is a photo in the Photo Gallery, do what Echofire said.

How do I delete a photo from the photo gallery? I cannot find a "delete photo" option anywhere on the page or with the photo.

Deleting Photos
If you are a moderator or up then you have the ability to delete photos from the Photo Gallery. Visit the Photo Gallery by clicking on the Photos tab which is right below your banner in the left hand corner. Select the photo you wish to delete, and click on it. You will see a few options above the photo, select More Tools. You will be given two options select Delete Photo.
You can delete a photo on a page by clicking on it, then hitting delete/backspace on your keyboard.

Delete photo
You can use EasyEdit to delete a photo that has been added to a page (just click on the photo and then delete it while the editor is open). To delete a photo from the photo gallery you have to have moderator, administrator, or site creator status on the site.

Thumbnails of deleted photos can not be deleted from wetpaint
The pictures that had been deleted months ago still appearing as a small thumbnail between search results when Wetpaint Site Search engine is utilized. Deleted photos do not have any tag, but they still show with wetpaint search engine. When clicked on the thumbnail it links to 'This photo has been deleted, contact a site moderator' error page. There is not any meaning to list deleted photos between wetpaint search results. There is no way to delete the thumbnails of deleted photos from search results of Wetpaint.

Deleting Photo
We're having the same problem with our new site. We can easily just save a smaller version of the picture on our computer, but how do we delete the one that's already on our home page (and refuses to leave the home page, even though we've already deleted the photo from the Gallery)? Then we could just add the smaller version of the picture ourselves.

how to delete all photos in Photo Gallery?
1. Go to the photo gallery
2. Click on the image you wish to remove
3. Click on "More tools" at the top of the page
4. Select "Delete photo" from the drop down menu and confirm that you want to delete the image.
