Banning
If it is an offensive page or thread you need to remove, you can easily delete them.
Delete a page - http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/delete+a+page Delete a thread - http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/delete+thread+or+post.
Users and anonymous users can be banned, so that they are no longer allowed to contribute to your wiki.

BUG - Banned user not so banned
zombiesurvivalwiki.com
We have a user, billybad_45. He cancelled his account before we could ban him. We banned him anyway.
Turns out that he can reactivate his account, post trolling threads, then cancel before we can ban him. Each time after he has cancelled, his status is back to Registered User. Put the ban back on, but no effect.
Is it possible to have it so that banning cancelled people still bans them?

Bug: Banned user
OS: Win XP
Browsers: Firefox & IE (latest versions)
I believe i have found a bug related to the Ban User feature in Wetpaint. On this site there are several users that hold the rank of "Administrator". While testing out the Ban feature, one user maceama was accidentally banned from the site. There does not appear to be anyway to unban this user (clicking unban just appears to refresh the same page) several attempts have been made over the past few days (from different Admin accounts) but to no avail. It appears that if an Admin bans an Admin there is no way to unban! thanks,

IP banning registered users
The only way to IP ban someone is if they come on anonymous. Even if this user comes on as an anonymous, you need to be a moderator or up to IP ban them.

IP Ban a Registered User?
You can IP Ban a user if you are moderator and above.
If you use Sitemeter then you can easily track your site visitors IP address.

Can current users see the list of banned users?
I also use this site as a supplement to a course and I've been banning former students to clean the slate for my new students...however, will my new students be able to see who I've banned, or is that something that only I see as an administrator? Sort of an odd thing to have to explain if current users can tell who's been banned...

Could you please IP ban this user:
1. I'd like to know your user name before I consider that
2. I'd also like a reason that you believe he needs to be IP banned
