Cannot Add New Members
Feb 26 2010, 1:36 AM EST | Post edited: Feb 26 2010, 1:36 AM EST
As of Feb 26th, 2010, the INVITE function is still not working. It does send out the invitation e-mail, but when new users click the ACCEPT INVITATION button they are brought to a page that say, "Contact the person who referred you to the site and request an invitation." So as an administrator I've been unable to add any new users to my page for several months now. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do please contact me at the e-mail below. Thanks.

As of last year, the invite feature was dropped.

To let someone join, you do the following:
1.) Go to Permissions under Settings and select Public.
2.) Wait until they join.
3.) After all have joined, go back and make it Private again.

So why is there still an invite button, if the feature was dropped why not just drop that invite button too. Plus there is still a directions page on how to send an invite. ????? confusing Do you find this valuable?

It depends if the site is Private or not. If it is private, there is no Invites button. If it is public, there is an Invite button, but, as of now, it is not working due to a bug that is hard to isolate.

Btw, no Forum Necromancy. Read the rules:
