Why do my docstoc widgets just show up as a red cross. Is it because I have a 64 bit system? I used to be able to embed them and now I can't. Do you find this valuable?

This is most likely Docstoc's part of the rope, they are responsible for something like that, try searching for help in their forum.

Thanks. I've installed 32 bit Explorer version - all good now. Do you find this valuable?
