An update on the slow response times in navigating your wikis. Wetpaint is aware of this issue. At this time they do not know what is creating the slowness. It could be a mix of things that could be the cause. No one specific area is outstanding or showing any errors. Everything works, except it is slow in doing so. These are the most difficult problems to fix.
The programmers are going to try some things within the next week or so, to see if they can flush out the problem. These types of problems where any area of operation can cause the slowdown, have to be approached with care as not to introduce another problem, that could be masked by the original problem. Wetpaint has said it will keep the moderators abreast of any updates they may have. In the meantime as frustrating as it may be, hang in there (no pun intended). Keep track of this thread for updates.

My daughter is attempting to make a site where people can come and create fun stories and play games, but unfortunately, she made a page and it is uncategorized, so she attempted to put it under the homepage, and it constantly says that the page is still uncategorized. After trying for about half an hour she is still unable to create her website. She is 10 and very skilled about wetpaint and is careful with it, and her older sister is helping her, but knows nothing about the uncategorized page. She is clearly unable to make her site though.
So I really need help with this because I've got a strange uncategorized problem, and sad kids.

Hello, WPC Staff!
I can't seem to upload a Grooveshark widget to my website... I've uploaded 2-3 playlists before but for some reason it's not working!!! The error message comes out like this after I enter the embed code for widgets marked as 'Other': "This appears to be an invalid widget. We support widgets that contain either an Embed tag for Flash content or that are contained within an IFRAME. Please check the code and try again."

I created a site, and it keeps doing the STUPIDEST THINGS! Some times when I add a page it will keep trying to be uncatagorized! I keep moving it and renaming it and trying all sort of things, BUT IT JUST WON'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the caps, but I am pretty mad!!!!!!!!! >:(

Hello, WPC Staff.
This random RU called "TheHackerGuy" joined our site and did nothing but root out unlocked pages so that he/ she could delete all the content and replace it with his/ her signatures: :P howdy :) :) hi TheHackerGuy even had the nerve to post a load of sexually explicit/ licentious information on one of our threads, and (to my utter horror) began to "sexually molest" some our our users' characters who were involved in roleplay (his/ her posts were deleted by our staff... so the situation has been contained). TheHackerGuy is now banned permanently from NGOG (Noble Guardians of Ga 'Hoole) but I'm afraid that he/ she will return as an anonymous user to continue "unfinished business". Is there a way that you can ban this user from all sites on the Wetpaint platform for his/ her unruliness and outright disregard of our policies, or at least find out his/ her IP address, along with all the names of his/ her user profiles on the Wetpaint system? This person came onto our site with the sole intent to cause havoc and raise the ire of our staff members. I have a vague suspicion of who this person is, but I am not obliged to disclose such information in a public setting. In any case, I want to make sure that TheHackerGuy never returns to our site... I count it a blessing that our site wasn't completely ransacked, as was the case of many wolf RPG sites that I've visited, where the administrators themselves tore apart the sites and posted slanderous messages on their sites' homepages. If there's anything you can do to help me find out the names of any alternative RU profiles for TheHackerGuy on the WP system, I would appreciate it immensely! If he/ she has another existing user profile on NGOG, I would like to get rid of it as soon as possible. Thanks for your consideration! -Grand

It's been like a year now. I am the main admin at Supernatural-fan-wiki, and I seem to have lost all email notifications forever since one of the times that Wetpaint had an issue with this ... mine just never came back up. I have tried everything in the book on my end. I am NOT getting any help from Wetpaint to solve this issue. I would really like SOMEONE to take the bull by the horns and solve this once and for all. PLEASE!

Hello, WPC Staff!
I've been having some issues relocating a thread to a sub-section of my website. For some reason, the thread-editing feature only allows me to move it just once... and then that's as far as I can get (I read the instructions for thread relocation on the FAQ but it's not that informative). This was completely uncalled-for, seeing that mods+ are able to move actual PAGES more than once, to any section/ sub-section of a WP site. In selecting a new location for these pages, the page that we are currently editing will become a subpage of the page that is selected. This feature does not apply to the thread relocation process (as far as I can tell), but I believe it would be a major boon for WP sites if this was made applicable. Is there a back-route that is used to define a path for these threads? If so, then please do tell! Thanks for reading! ;) -Grand

Greetings, WPC Staff!
I find that I'm having issues placing fonts on NGOG (Noble Guardians of Ga 'Hoole) that aren't the pre-installed WP fonts, such as Garamond, Arial, Courier, etc. I've been following the step-by-step instructions mentioned by "walrusworldstudios" on this thread: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/thread/4324903/Text I have Notepad++, and I've been taking a Web Development course to refine my skills with HTML, but so far I've been unable to put fonts on my webpage that are visible to the entire NGOG community. I've been uploading all my desired fonts from www.dafont.com, and I've installed them onto my computer. I then do -everything- that WWW calls for on the "Text" thread: 1.) Open blank page in Notepad++ 2.) Insert HTML code: <p> <font face="insert font name here">Insert text here</p> 3.) Insert font name, and desired text read-out 4.) Save document as an "All Files" file type, then add ".html" to end of file name 5.) Run document with Internet Explorer 6.) Copy text read-out and paste the selection onto website After I save the page that I'm working on, I'm able to see the new font types, but none of the other members on NGOG (RUs, Mods, Admins, etc.) are able to see them! When they view the page that I've edited, they're only able to see the new font translated as Garamond, or some other pre-installed WP font. The only reason why I'm still able to see these new fonts is because I have them installed on my computer, but no one else does. Is there some way for me to upload the new fonts so that -everyone- can see them, and not just me? Thanks for reading! -Grand

Our cancer support group website was private and for an accidental period of time it was public and now it is private again. Unfortunately -- personal info of our members is now cached on google despite deleting the info from our page. I went to remove it through Webmaster Tools because it isn't clearing but since I can't verify the site since I am not technically the "webmaster" --This option is not available to me. Does anyone have a suggestion on what we can do? This is awful.

I have not been able to add music from the "other widget" because the "other widget" doesn't show up under widgets. I haven't been able to do this for about 2 weeks and im getting pissed off. And all of a sudden I can't even edit my profile at all because the tool box is doing this weird thing where its a rectangle on the side and my editing area is a tiny little section that I can't even type in. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Are you able to edit the navigation tabs across the top of the screen (Home, Discussion, Photos, ect) to title them differently such as (Links, Resources, Sponsors) whatever else??? Thanks in advance.
