  • Thread "other widgets" i have not had much luck getting "other widgets" to work. sometimes they are instantly kicked out as not supported. i have gotten a couple codes to go through, but when i finish editing the pages the box where they should be is only a blank white space.   • Thread widgets There is NO code to add the widgets. I've been trying to add the photobucket, and others and it won't give me the code to post it. Only asks if I want to add a widget that's not already on the list. Thread location: PageReport a Bug

  • Thread RE: widgets Some, but not all embedded music players work on Wetpaint sites. In order to put songs on your Wetpaint site they need to be hosted through a service where you can get a music player embed code (just like you would for YouTude videos). Some examples of music players that are compatible with Wetpaint are at http://odeo.com and http://www.RadioBlogClub.com. Once you have an embed code you can embed a music player on your site by using the new “Widget” feature on the EasyEdit toolbar (use the “other widget” selection for music players).     "Start by deleting the widget on the page and saving. Then get the code again from Slide and re-ad the widget. I recommend using the code they offer for use on Freewebs. I was able to add a Slide widget just fine on my test site."
    It worked, thank you!

    Just for clarity, there was no need to delete the widget because it just wasn't there. And then of course there's the mystery of why I need to use the Freewebs code her but don't need it on my other Wetpaint site. But it's all good regardless. Thanks again.   • Thread Flickr widget Please please please please add a partnership with Flickr. I tried to create a "Flickr badge" on Flickr's website and paste it as an "Other Widget" on wetpaint, but it didn't work. I don't want to have to maintain multiple photo sites! Thread location: PageMake a Suggestion

  • Thread RE: Games widget If you would like to add a games widget to your site then it needs to be an Embed code. Wetpaint can only support Embed codes and IFrames. To get the game you want search google/yahoo for, The game you want and Embed. That will bring up the embed code for the game you want. Copy that code and paste it into other widget.

  • Thread Calendar Widget I've followed the process for adding a calendar, including setting up a G-mail account and verifying it is working. I sign into Wetpaint, open my web page (http://aylmeruc.wetpaint.com), add a page called "Calendar", click on "Easy Edit", select "Widget", click on "Google Calendar", type in G-mail account. Sometimes I've tried with resize and others without. Click on "Done". A message states: Google Calendar. This calendar will appear when hyou finish editing the page." I click on "Save", "Skip Edit Note", and get the following message: "Google Calendar, Parameter Error. Invalid calendar id: aylmeruc@gmail.com". This happened several times yesterday and again today. I gave up trying to add a calendar to other Wetpaint sites I manage. HELP! Thread location: PageAsk & Answer

  • Thread Page edit deletes "other widgets" from I have experienced this problem a few times: I edit certain pages containing functioning "other widgets." When I save my changes, the "other widgets" on that page are deleted by wetpaint ( not by me.) I can revert to the previous page version to restore the "other widgets", but I cannot edit those pages without losing the functioning widgets. The "other widgets" I typically use (and are losing) are Picasaweb embedded slideshow gadgets. This problem seems to occur only on pages that were previously edited by one of my moderators, where he has added a widget and made textual changes. I do not experience this problem on pages where I was the last person to edited the page.

    Other relevant data: I'm using Firefox ver 2. I am the creator/admin of this wiki. I don't know what browser my moderator is using.

    I spent a few moments in Help & Discussion Forums trying to find an answer, but have given up. If there is a thread, please send me that link. Thanks!     Thread location: PageReport a Bug

    logon to http://www.freegamesforyourwebsite.com
    and select any game and click on get html code and copy the above code and come to your website where u want to add game and click on easyedit button and click on widgets button and select other widgets section and paste that code which was copied from that side and click on add widget and click on save, that's it.
    if u can't find game after adding this code just upgrade your flash player by going here :

  • Thread Widgets do not load The widgets on any one of my pages do not load. They show up as white boxes.

    Browser: Mozilla Firefox
    OS: Windows XP
    I have 1 Youtube video, 1 PhotoBucket slideshow, and 1 Vizu Poll
    I have 7 Youtube videos on my "relevant videos" page.
    The weird thing is; everything works flawlessly on my home computer.
    My work computer used to load everything just fine for several months. The only change I've made was installing a mandated "Desktop Alert."
    I've tried clearing my cache and cookies and restarting with no luck. Also tried re-sizing the widgets.
    Please help.

  • Thread Box.net widget does not work I would like to use Box.net file storage widget, this is a very cool looking widget that will enhance the popularity of Wetpaint, I'm sure.
