Wetpaint has recently announced they are cracking down on Terms of Service Violations. As such, they are going around and blocking any wikis which violate their terms of service, and they have also temporarily suspended the creation of new wikis until more safeguards can be put in place to prevent further violations.
-
For more information, view this announcement from Wetpaint., and for a list of known blocked wikis, view this thread.

-
We strongly recommend all site Creators and Administrators backup their wikis and take immediate
action to eliminate any violations that may exist.
-
In closing, when you sign up for Wetpaint, you agree to their Terms of Service. This constitutes a legally binding contract.
It does not matter if you disagree with the Terms of Service. If your wiki violates it, it will likely be blocked and/or deleted.

Featured Tip - Backup your wikis!
Tip provided by: CaptainSpaz
In the past, many wikis have been taken over by malicious users. Users who end up destroying all the hard work on your wikis. Also, Wetpaint can choose to shut down your wikis without any prior notification. If you have put hours, weeks, or even years of hard work into your wikis, and don't want to lose it all, its simple. Backup your wikis! (Note: Only Creators and Administrators can backup a wiki.)

Here is a page that explains how to backup your wiki: Site Backup
-
We strongly recommend that if you have put any length of time and work into your wikis, that you backup your wikis regularly.
This way, if something happens, all your hard work is saved!
If you have any tips, please message one of the Staff members.
