There are several steps this post needs answers for.
1. Webcam video cannot be directly shown on a wiki page.This would require video streaming software, a server to stream the software from and java or javascript coding for the player which is not supported by WP.
2. Not knowing how to save videos from the Webcam to the local hard drive.
Consult your manufacturer's manual on how to acquire videos from your webcam and save them.
3. Determining what video format needs to be in for the video hosting site such as google, yourtube or hulu. Check with the video hosting site.
4. Uploading the video to the video hosting site. Check with the video hosting site.
5. Adding the video embed code from the video hosting site to a wetpaint page.

I receive the same message very once in a while. I just close the window and pay no mind to the content of the window.

I suggest that you make sure that you are aware of the new status update on Wetpaint! We have been receiving messages about malware warnings, this is on Adobe's part of the end, but make sure to be aware of it!

um ya it is supported by wetpaint if u click sumthing like idk...um i think it ses that if u cant find a widget u r looking for CLICK HERE and it ses that u can use xtranormal bcuz that is the only way i figured out wat xtranormal was!!

It may be because of an HTML code. If it is, Wetpaint does not support HTML codes. Hopefully they will soon.

Sorry, Wetpaint does not provide the ability to upload videos directly from your computer. You would need to upload them to a video service such as YouTube, Megavideo, Dailymotion, etc. Then follow the instructions on http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Video

"I'm having the same problems uploading that Lucy1000 is. Reloading and all that doesn't work. Neither does searching for the video from the widget. It still say's the same thing. And no, I'm not trying to download any vids from my desktop. It says this everytime I try and refresh, reload, try again. It's just not working! What should be done? Is this some kind of glitch?"

i've been having tha same thing happen to me, i can only add videos from this site. I can't embed or use tha URL it doesnt work.

There is not a way to upload videos directly to Wetpaint. A hosting site must be used and a link or embed code can be placed on your wiki page. For more information please click the link provided.

You cannot upload videos straight from your computer, you must upload them to sites like Youtube.com or metacafe.com first. Then you can get the Embed Code and paste the Video as a Widget to your site.
