The search is on mistykit...the quotation marks in the search criteria simply denotes everything between the quotation marks and nothing else. The search results have the quotation marks as a indicator as to what in the pages and threads have mistykit.

So if you did not find this person the only way to find them except for keeping in touch with them. Then the answer is no there is no way. Try asking some of the members of the wikis you both belong to and see if they know.

He stated 'but not add or edit pages'. Even if you lock a page, the members can still create pages. Writer status is the only way for this to work.

"This is true. They are sent to all moderators, admins, and creators. I know this because back in 08 when my website had the writer option, moderators received the notifications."

Technically the highest rank is Creator, but there is only one creator per site and this role can be lost if this user were to cancel their membership. Administrators have basically all the powers a Creator has, but obviously they don't have the ability to ban a creator. After administrators are moderators, who still have access to most anything on the site except for being able to change advanced settings like the sites style and such. Creators, Administrators, and Moderators are the only ones who can promote users, moderators can only promote users to as high as moderator. Writers are a special role which you can choose to have on your site. Basically writers will have the ability to edit any unlocked pages on your site, but can not promote any users. Registered Users will only have the ability to post in threads if there are writers, otherwise if there is not they basically do everything a writer could do.

In order to get one of these roles on a site, your friends would need to promote you. I suggest you message them about getting moved up in rank.

Go to your profile and click on: Messages. Then find: Compose Message. Click on it. Then click on the ' To ' button. It will give you a number of accounts, just click: All Registered Users. It will be sent to all users on your site, except for banned members.

Only the member themselves can cancel their membership.

Tell her to log in (not sign up) and join again. If your site is Private, you'll need to send her another invitation. Again, tell her to sign in instead of signing up. She already has a Wetpaint account, she's just not a member of your site any longer.

"if you join a site as a registered user or writer (if it's an invite only site) the site creator or administrator is typically the one that would promote you. You can ask at any time, but the best way to get promoted is to be active on the site and prove your worth for a bit first. If the site creator or administrator sees that you are a benefit to the site and community they will be more likely to promote you to a higher status."

If you're really itching to become a Mod/Admin, join a really small site (one or two users) and ask. They're usually in need of Admins in places like those.
