How do I use a site template?
Using Site Templates is a snap! First, create a new wiki, and then follow the prompts to apply a site template.
And, like anything on a Wetpaint wiki, you can change any part of the template at any time: rename the pages, modify the copy and formatting, delete the placeholder text and images, or delete the page and create your own. You're not locked in!
Just remember: If you decide not to use a site template when you create your wiki, you won't be able to apply one later.

I use a site template and now I want to change the theme to something else. Being a newbie I didn't realized that I'm locked in once I chose a template. To create a new site template I suppose I have try to delete my account and create a new one. Unless there is a way...

It really would help if the "locked in" part was stressed at the beginning. I have my friends in my wiki, and now we've figured out how we would like to use the wiki - of course now we can't change the template!!

I wan to make a temporary read-only copy of my Wiki so Ican promote it, with people able to read it without signing up, but require people to sign up to view and contribute to the real "live" thing. I don't want to make my real wiki available to thepublic.
