We’re celebrating (just a little) here at Wetpaint. Why, you ask? Has the Seattle sun been out for more than two days in a row? Did someone restock the coffee beans and Fresca in the Wetpaint kitchen? While those two things definitely have something to do with boosting our spirits, this celebratory mood has more to do with passing the milestone of 25,000 Wetpaint sites created. Sure, it will be awhile before we can boast “Billions Served,” but we’re on the way! Thanks to you for giving Wetpaint a try, providing great feedback, telling your friends about us, and making your Wetpaint site a great place to be online.

Add YouTube videos to your site
You can now easily integrate YouTube videos into your Wetpaint site. Start by clicking the Video icon on the EasyEdit toolbar. Copy and paste in the YouTube video URL and – voilá – your Wetpaint site now has video. Check out our favorite YouTube video here.

Search the entire Wetpaint network of sites
Have you ever wondered if someone has created a site about the greatest soccer team on the planet – Celtic FC? Well, someone has. Butyou wouldn’t have been able to find it until now. Use the search box on the Wetpaint home page to search and explore sites about whatever topics interest you.

Get notified when someone makes a comment
When you leave a comment on any Wetpaint site, you now have an option to receive an email alert when someone responds to your comment. You'll also get an email notification when someone leaves a comment on your profile page.

An even faster editing experience
If you’ve been using Wetpaint since the beginning, you’ll notice that the page editingexperience is better and faster than ever. Perhaps improved performance isn't as sexy a feature as YouTube videos, nor as obvious as the Wetpaint search functionality, but it will go a long way to making your Wetpaint experience even better.

In ten easy lessons, you too can learn everything you need to know about how to play the guitar.This site uses videos to help speed the learning process. Unfortunately, Free Guitar Lessonsdoes not include instruction onhow to light your guitar on fire á la Jimi Hendrix orwindmill á la Pete Townshend. Better, anyway, to wait to demolish your guitar until after you've actually learned hot to play it, right? Note - with the YouTube feature, these videos can nowbe directly incorporated into the site.
