RE: comments
Really? On which site? I just deleted a comment on my site and it worked fine. Are you trying to delete a single reply (via the inline link) or an entire thread? If you want to delete an entire thread check the 'Manage Thread' at the top right of the thread page. We updated the feature last night so you might not have seen the new placement.

RE: Names on "recent comments"
"What is the name of your site? " Boston Legal. Is it possible I'm the only one having this problem? At this moment, the Active comments list shows that the last three comments on the same topic by 'bloz", but if you go into the discussion, one of them was really from DanaG. If I posted a new reply right now, I'm quite sure all three would have my name. Thanks, Sue

Comments on the home page?
I like the way we now have the toolbar at the top of the page, but on the homepage of websites I really wish the sidebar [it listed last 3 updated pages and last 3 comments] would return. It's almost unorganised, the way we have to click on 'discussion forum' to reply to ONE comment.
Does anyone else feel the same?

RE: Recent Site Activity - Active Comments
The activity panel on the homepage only show the most recent reply from the three most-recently active threads. If there are multiple replies on the same thread, only the last one will show up in the panel on the homepage.
If you compare the Recent Comments Report to the panel on your homepage, I think you'll see that the three most-recently active threads are all represented.

Ability to move comments to other pages
As is evident by the many dis-con-bobulated comments even in this wiki, it would be nice if moderators could move our comments around. An example of what I mean is if someone were to post a comment on the Ask & Answer page, that would be more appropriate on the Make a Suggestion page -- it would be handy if we could move that comment to the more appropriate area. Or maybe have a reference link that would be easier than the long URL to the page where the comment is shown.
Is my description clear as mud? I hope not. But if you have questions, holler out to me and I'll try to explain better.

watched pages & comments fail to send email notification
In the past, I received email notifications about page changes for pages that I flagged as "watched". Now, I don't receive any notification about changes to either watched pages or watched comment threads. My wetpaint wiki page is: http://nwaq.wetpaint.com, and I am the administrator for that site. I'm using Firefox 1.0.4 on Windows XP SP2.
Please reply to jhinds@uidaho.edu. Thanks!

RE: messeges and replys
"hey have you ever thought of the idea instead of having to go to each wiki and check your profile for your messeges........ or to see if you even have any ...........that there could be a way to have at the side of the my profile link on the my wikis page links to the messege or say that there are messeges waiting it would save alot of time going through each wiki where as at a glance you can see if you have messesges on that wiki or not
" i am not asking about a global messeging area i was thinking about the ability to have the words show up like " you have messeges", "you have a reply", "you have a comment " after the "my profile for this wiki" which show up after the link to a wiki on the My wiki page

comment reply emails come only in HTML
I use Opera's internal email processor for all my email. Top notch. But your comment reply notification emails come in HTML and with no obvious or extractable links which I can copy to another browser - and I must do this since Wetpaint regretably doesn't work in Opera. It was - just now - a real hassle to locate the response to an important comment I made at Wetpaint Central earlier today. I need to be able to request text only emails, OR (recommended solution - heh heh) you could get Wetpaint to work in Opera, preferably by sunrise tomorrow. Hey, anyone can be unreasonable once a day, yes? Seriously, though...this HTML email thing IS a problem for me, and probably for some other folks.

Replies to a discussion thread
Is there any way to set the number of replies that show up on a page to a discussion post. My wiki is only showing the original post with a link to show the latest response. This makes it appear as if no one has replied. Thanks

Missing comments
I posted a comment a few weeks ago about editing long pages. Jason replied and I replied to him last week. Now I can't find this comment anywhere. Where is it?

RE: remove comments?
You can delete a comment. Click on the comment title, which will open the comment. At the bottom on the right you will see a link to "Delete comment and replies". If you set your site permissions to require users to login in or write by invitation only, it will disable anonymous comments and allow you better control over what indivuals post. Please feel free to view more answers at our FAQ Help site: http://wetpaintcentral.wetpaint.com/help#top.
Thanks for giving Wetpaint a whirl!
