Remove a FriendThis is a featured page

I am no longer friends with a person on Wetpaint, how do I remove them?

Removing someone as a friend is simple. Just navigate to their profile and click the "remove friend" button. Here is an example of a profile and were to click:

Why should I remove someone as a friend?

You should remove someone as a friend if you have never or rarely talk to them. Only accept friend requests if you truly are friends on Wetpaint.

I would like to be able to check someone out before accepting them as a friend. This feature does not appear to be available; is that correct? When people have names that you do not know this makes it very hard to assess if they should be accepted, is there a way to email them forst to find out who they are/what their interest is in our wiki? We are developing a wiki for a specific project but do want to invite others to join but don't want the site cluttered with extraneous information.
