How will I be billed?
Once you subscribe, your credit card will be billed monthly. If you were one of their beta customers who subscribed using a PayPal account, your rebilling is via PayPal. Wetpaint does not support PayPal payments for new subscriptions or invoice billing.

How do I cancel my subscription to remove advertising?
For most customers, the cancellation procedure is as follows:
  1. Sign in to your Wetpaint site with the account used to set up the subscription and click on "Settings" near the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click on the "Upgrades" tab, which displays your subscription status.
  3. Click on the “Cancel subscription” link.
Note: The ad removal will continue until the currently paid month expires. Example: You cancel your subscription on the 25th. If your last payment was on the 15th, the ad removal will continue through the 14th of the following month.

If you subscribed using PayPal during our beta test, your cancellation steps are as follows:
  1. Sign in to your Wetpaint site and go to the Settings section.
  2. Click on the "Upgrades" tab.
  3. Click the "Go to PayPal" link and login to your PayPal Account
  4. Follow the PayPal instructions for cancellation

Ads will be turned back on at the end of the current billing cycle once the subscription has been canceled.

How do I update my card number?
The only way to update or change the card number used for your subscription payment is to cancel your subscription and then resubscribe with the other card. Follow the instructions in the previous section to cancel, then resubscribe with the new card. Any days left from the previous month and billed to your original card will be applied to the term of your new subscription. For example, if you have 15 days remaining on your subscription and you updated your card (cancel and resubscribe) on August 1, Wetpaint will process your payment, but extend your rebill date to September 16. Future months will be billed on the 16th.

I love wetpaint but the cost of premium services is not competitive. I currently pay for webhosting for a cost of $7 per month yet the wetpaint premium is $19 per month. This doesn't seem fair. I would like to continue my wetpaint but I have to have the ads removed because it use the site with primary school children and the headteacher doesn't want to have the ads included. Can you PLEASE take another look at educational establishments in your pricing structure

Thanks, Cheryl Morgan, Raglan Domesday Wiki

I just visited a Wetpaintcentral wiki for the first time and was overwhelmed by the ads. They are way over the top and spoil the whole experience of using this service. $240 a year is way too much to switch off advertising. Users would be much better off spending $50 a year for shared hosting and install their own wiki on their own space with their own domain.

KAYGERMAN EDUCATION WIKIS AND ADVERTISING 6 Dec 7 2011, 3:53 PM EST by Naru2008

I was told that my membership did not have advertising because it was an education site. It has been ad free for some time now, but now they have returned. What should I do to remove them? I cannot pay $19 every month - I am a UK teacher and this is for mypupils. I understood that education wikis were free and ad free?
