How will I be billed?
Once you subscribe, your credit card will be billed monthly. If you were one of our beta customers who subscribed using a PayPal account, your rebilling is via PayPal. At this time we do not support PayPal payments for new subscriptions. Wetpaint does not currently support invoice billing.

How do I cancel my subscription to remove advertising?
For most customers, the cancellation procedure is as follows:
  1. Sign in to your Wetpaint site and go to the Settings section.
  2. Click on the "Upgrades" tab, which displays your subscription status.
  3. Click on “Cancel subscription” link.

If you subscribed using PayPal during our beta test, your cancellation steps are as follows:
  1. Sign in to your Wetpaint site and go to the Settings section.
  2. Click on the "Upgrades" tab.
  3. Click the "Go to PayPal" link and login to your PayPal Account
  4. Follow the PayPal instructions for cancellation

Ads will be turned back on at the end of the current billing cycle once the subscription has been canceled.

How do I update my card number?
Currently, the only way to update or change the card number used for your subscription payment is to cancel your subscription and then resubscribe with the other card. Follow the instructions in the previous section to cancel, then resubscribe with the new card. Any days left from the previous month and billed to your original card will be applied to the term of your new subscription. For example, if you have 15 days remaining on your subscription and you updated your card (cancel and resubscribe) on August 1, Wetpaint will process your payment, but extend your rebill date to September 16. Future months will be billed on the 16th.

vivevans What happened to education add free sites? (page: 1 2) 39 Thursday, 10:01 PM EST by Baby_Apple

Hi,
I must say that advertising with just the google ads down the side was fine. But the banners for terrible shows such as Dexter etc are very inappropriate for the students and community organisations I unfortunately introduced Wetpaint to.

If such advertising was made aware of originally it would be fine but I and others I encouraged have built sites and invested much free time into only to have the sites made look ugly and inappropriate. You advertised and encouraged add free education sites but now I see no links to that resource... so you lured us in and then we are stuck with sites that we can no longer use.

Sure I agree that you can't offer a free service but it is the stealth at which you have brought these ads into the fore that I appose. It is too late for us to rebuild on another site that will probably to do the same as you have hook in free to get your site up and viable then charge or damage the good work that has been done.

Obviously your organisation has decided that education isn't the way to go but instead tv movie fans is your focus.

Yours disappointedly

I agree that the nature of the advertising that is now infesting the site is inappropriate. Perhaps you would consider offering a discount to educators/educational non-profits like libraries who are concerned with maintaining commercial free content.Or, maybe you would agree to a discount for an upfront one year payment in full?
Look forward to your reply.
