How do I rate a thread or post?
Every thread on the site contains beneath it the prompt, "x out of x found this valuable. Do you?" followed by yes/no buttons.
Help promote threads and posts you find insightful — or identify those you don't — by clicking the yes (or no) button. You can only "vote" once per post.

It would really be useful on my site if I could change what this says since on my site I want to measure user's agreement with a opinion represented as a post.

how does it know who you are so that you can only choose yes/no once per post.
does it use IP address? since you don't even have to be logged on to select yes or no? could this ever be changed to use the logged in user id...since I don't want a non trusted user to post an opinion? Thx |
